does the new report feature change anything?

like the players i team up with, or anyone i reported to be either queued differently or banned? i see that i can no longer report players for trolling, which is like 99% of what all my reports consist of. well where the hell do i report bad players then? and why did riot make the comment part bigger? did they want me to input the things the trolls did wrong? well sure, but then can i also get some feed back on my reports? like what's the point of me commenting if i don't get a reply back? i don't want to constantly lose games because of them, and i don't want to be queued with players who don't know what they are doing.

Hello, First off "trolling" is a very vague category that can fit into almost any other of the report categories depending on the scenario. As for the comments section of the report, "comments" are used as evidence to back up what actions may have happened or what was said before, during, and after the game. If you just click a button to report a player without commenting, then there is not necessarily enough evidence to back up what happened. Riot takes all comments into account and are more likely to read reports with comments.

Sincerely, Swallower

Right now, the only time you get feedback on a report is if it's for the last game needed to trigger a punishment. Whether or not you comment doesn't matter for getting the feedback.
