thoughts on the honor update.

so were going to have three different ways you will be able to honor others after a game, and frankly i'm worried.

stayed-cool: the guy who went 0/2 ten minutes into game but pulled through and didn't tilt. i'm mostly ok with this one but i don't see it being used much because people are usually mad or upset at this person and its easier to blame the guy for feeding or not being good enough

great shot-caller: the dude who knew what to do, the one who managed to get objectives like baron and drake after coming out of good teamfights before taking a tower because he could call shots.... and stuff. i'm really worried about this one because i have seen quite a few battles for leadership in games and some people who tried shotcalling but it just didn't work out for them.

GG <3: to the person who you had a great game with and made it so enjoyable 10/10 would play with you again. personally my favorite and the only one that i think will be used to its full effect (if only i could give ones to that really cool enemy team-mate)

What I don't like about the new system is that you can only honor one of your teammates. I seriously don't get why that is a thing. If my whole team was great shouldn't I be able to show everyone of them how much I appreciated the game with them? I don't want to say "Oh yeah dude you were so much more friendly than everyone else so you get the honor!" while the other guys were just as nice.

What I also don't like is the fact that your honor level rises without actually getting honor from your teammates. With that mechanic we will soon have only people who are the highest or the lowest level since you can basically be afk (but move so you don't get a punishment) and your honor level would still rise up. It's like paying someone for doing nothing instead of paying only the people who actually do something. That mechanic should be changed or there is basically no reason wanting to be honored at all (if you know that you don't get any punishment in the near future ofc) since you will get to the highest level anyway.

I don't even have the new honor screen.... is it only out in EU ?
