This has probably been said a hundred times but...

So a month ago, I decided to get into ranked. I had a great start, winning 8 of my 10 placement matches and having a pretty good mmr for a silver player. I got placed into silver 2.... and then it all went to ****. No matter what lane I went into, no matter what "OP AF" champ I played, I would end the game in a crushing defeat. It's gotten to the point where I can't win even normal games anymore. I'm starting to lose hope in my ability to win games anymore and that I'm forever trapped in a 0% win rate.

I know that I need to improve a lot (Ex: CS, Map awareness, etc.), but when my team yells and trashes me for being behind by 5 CS I don't know how I'm going to do it...item 3070

You're a lot more than 5 cs behind, actually. You're getting around half the amount of CS you should be getting and dying a lot to boot. Not to be demoralizing or anything. If you start CSing well, you'll win more engages, so you'll die less, so the enemy team will be less fed, so you'll win more games. :D

People sometimes get placed above the MMR that they belong in. It is a pretty common occurrence because there's just that much randomness when you put 10 unranked people into a game together. Don't get too upset about the losses. This is the natural progression. You're falling to the level where you belong, and that will take a little time. You will start seeing games become somewhat easier, until they level out around the 50/50 mark. From there, it's up to you to keep working on your skills so that you can earn your way back up to Silver 2 over time.

(Psst... you should buy boots. On every champion, in every lane, in every game.)
