ŽeroGravity Hello MR. Beck or Riot Corp.

I am contacting you because I have come up with a solid idea to resolve all issues when it comes to Players that Troll, AFK, Toxic, and have connection issues. My idea can be incorporated and integrated into the current system.

Why will it work?

1.The current ranked system seems nearly complete on Riots end, however my idea Can use your current/future rank system and integrate players end game reports to solve all complaints in the League Of Legends community!

Riot will not be held responsible for the actions taken because my idea is designed to make it the peoples/players choice and actions.

My idea will flush out trolls and AFK's with in the game and solve it permanently!

Perks for Riot Games for integrating my idea into the system=

Less costumers service on Riots end which means you will save money as a company because your system will do most of the work for you.

Riot will have less complaints from gamers and community!

Riot can not be held responsible for the systems actions; meaning can't be sued for how my idea can fix and help your costumers.

More subscribers, gamers, returning old players and happy people/players in both Riot and the Riot gamer community.

It would cost Riot Games very little to integrate my idea into the current system.

My Idea consist of using the current rank system and the end reports that are submitted by players against other players for their actions= Trolls, AFK, and Toxic players!

How my idea works for all gamers and Riot! It starts by using a color code flag system that is integrated into the current system. Each player will have a colored flag placed near their names in the client, current rank system and during Ques. Each flag will be color coded to represent each players actions in League of Legends and can effect them in a way that can prevent them from being able to Troll, AFK, connection issues, and being Toxic. Using the Rank system and my idea together will make the world of League fun again! At the start of each "Ranked game" during the selection screen a small flag with color codes will be added. If a individual has a red flag or yellow flag the members in the group will be given a auto warning of the individuals past actions to the other players! At that point Auto prompt will ask all green flagged players "do you wish to replace the following players; yes or no?" If the players pick yes they will get a replacement player that is ranked 2 ranks lower then them as a penalty however it will guarantee that the player is Green Flagged. For instance. If you are ranked Gold 3 and you choose to replace the individual the system will locate a player that has joined a "Hot streak que/ top 3 in their current rank" the player invited will be in the top 3 of their current rank or has a hot streak but that player will be silver 1.

"SEARIOUSLY WOULD YOU PREFER A RED OR YELLOW FLAGGED PLAYER OR A PLAYER THAT IS IN THE TOP OF THEIR TIER WITH A HOT STREAK? We all know the answer to that lol! At the end of each game if a individual is reported AFK or Troll after three reports have been submitted the system will auto Identify the individuals and label them black, red, yellow, purple, blue, and green flags.

"Unique Que explained " Individuals that are at the top of their rank and/or has a 4win hot streak Can choose to "unique Que" The que will be done separately from standard ques for all games. It will be a stand alone system that will give the person joining a longer que. Which they will have to wait to see if someone is voted to be removed from the ranked game or normal and draft games.
Flag Colors and what they mean to the gamers and Riot and how it works!

Green flag= None toxic players that have good standings and have not been reported Troll, AFK, Toxic or Connection Issues. These individuals are often honored at the end of the game and don't have many or any reports.

Blue flag= means they have been reported for disconnect and connection issues and will be giving 3 warnings that can place them in the red flag category! Yet they are still viable players and aren't toxic!

Purple Flag= a individual that reports false reports on players and abuse the rank/report system. After 2 warning the system will automatically red flag the individual. This happens when a individual that was reported submits a ticket to support that they feel they was falsely reported! The game will send the player that was reported a warning but also give them the option to prove the report was false. If the individual that reported the offence proves to have falsely reported players that individual will be moved to red or black flag status. "Or riot could let the individual that was reported review the video and vote if the person report was warranted! If 3 out of 5 or 7 out of 10 vote that the report was false then the individual will loose the warning or be placed back into green status. The person that reported the false report will receive a warning. If its their 2nd then the will receive a final warning. 3rd warning will place the in the red flag status.

Yellow flag= Are players that harass, verbally abusive, make sexual comments, racist comments and abuse other members in the group for mistakes or just because they want to bully people! Once you are yellow flagged, during the select screen the other members can click on the yellow flag and request for the other members to vote you to be replaced with a new "unique que player". Although these players are good at the game doesn't mean they should be enabled to continue to harass people. After this individual has gotten 3 reports the player is red flagged!

Red flag= Players that have been reported several times in blue, purple, or yellow flag systems. Which these individuals must now work real hard to get out of their new statues by not being reported and get honored for game play. Also they will not be allowed to play in any ranked games until they have played 5, 10, or 20 games in normal games, draft, twisted tree line or Arham. 1st offence players must play 5 consecutive games. 2nd offence= 10 games played. The games must be played consecutively with out getting any reports before the honor applies to them getting back into the status prior to landing in red status. 3rd offence is final warning and must play 20 games with out reports! After 3rd warning the individual is black flagged!

Black Flag= A player that has excited beyond the level of troll will be rewarded Black Flag. The reward for being a super troll is playing 50+ that are private game based, 5team vs A.I. After they complete the games they will be giving the option to request their account to be red flagged and earn their way back to green flag status by proving they have changed their ways.

Red and Black flag= You can still enjoy your account but be permanently stuck playing in practice mode or individual against A.I or are invited to play in private games. If the Riot system has Red flagged you 5 times or more your account is placed in this status and can be only taken out If Riot deems it as such. The individual will have to contact riot after 2 months to request to remove the flags. Which if they do so you will be placed right back into the red flag status and will have to prove their value.

That sounds highly abusable.

Riot has one of the most fair systems in the online gaming world, while it's far from perfect systems such as yours is highly abused by the players and never used correctly, you cannot implement things that give players too much control or they will abuse it sadly

As someone who did worked on dota2 and leaverbustr systems for steam I'm fully aware of the intent how ever its far more complex and crazy behind the scenes of stuff like this. Many games have failed to use this tactic, and data would likely show that riots current system is the most effective across the boradest segment.

Assuming I don't work for riot games or know any of their code

Fyi: I would probably be yellow flagged, i've had two (2) 10 game chat restrictions and currently at honor level zero (0).

Side note #2: I'm not sure the honor system is the best way to gauge behavior per se. For example, last night I had a really good game, best on the team by far and was in a great mood, calling and get objectives etc (Mostly bc as a support main I rarely get to carry). Fast forward to end screen and I got one honor. I made the comment "wow only one honor" and top lane told me as a support I'm not supposed to get kills and carry, which is why he didn't honor me. He then told me to learn to support and left.....

I will say this.. there is room for abuse as others have stated and I am not gonna beat that into the ground being as there isn't any way I can add to the discussion any further in that area HOWEVER I do like the idea of the "black flag players" I would like to see this done to the perma banned players instead so that they can play the game and not be harmful to anyone.

You need to think about this one a lot more. It's far more complicated than you think. Proving a report false would be difficult, and would require extensive human review, which would not be practical. And without the purple flag, the whole system breaks down through abuse.

Just put banned people in their own division. See how long they last when they are on the receiving end every single game.

PS to OP: Riot doesn't read the boards.

I'm not sure how black flag is different from a perma ban. If someone gets black flagged they will just make a new account if they want to continue playing.

Also, not sure why theres a blue flag. Blue flag says they aren't toxic just have connections issues. However, you don't list blue flagged people as people we can vote to kick. Likewise, three afks and you are black flagged? Jesus man, there are people with years old accounts. I assume your system has a way of removing strikes after a certain period of time.

I also tend to think this system screams for abuse. For example, if I run into a yellow flag person that I just don't like, or dont like how they play, I could easily bait them into a reportable offense. The flags would just be a huge bullseye.

Note: I gave you an upvote. While, I don't necessarily agree with your premise, it is obvious something you thought about and is laid out well. I don't think you deserve downvotes, seems adults should be able to talk through a hypothetical system and find its strengths and weaknesses.
