AFKs/DCs in late game
So this has been an issue for what feels like forever in the league community with people disconnecting or AFKing in the midst of a game. Now I appreciate that Riot has implemented the remake system for the beginning of matches, but there is no solution if it happens in the middle of the match. My example comes from one of my recent ranked matches. My team was winning with a very strong Vayne and Lee Sin, we were up by four turrets and our Vayne was 8/3 and our Lee Sin was 8/2. By about 25 minutes into the game our Vayne DCs from the game leaving us in a 4v5 situation with our carry gone. We would inevitably lose the game and thus lose LP for losing a game that we should have won, but because there was something outside of our control we lose that LP anyway. How is this fair to the community truly? Mind you that this is Solo Queue and so I have no connections to these other players whatsoever, so how is it fair that players lose LP for something completely out of their control? I suggest making the remake system for late game as well. If a person DCs for 5-10 minutes at any point of the game we should be allowed to remake without losing LP. I understand that this means that we have wasted a decent amount of time, but I would rather remake then have to lose footing in my ranking and have to regain the ground I lost for something outside of my control. I understand the flaws in this system, but there has to be a time frame where a person AFKs that can be agreed upon. Most teams cannot last 10 minutes with a disconnected player. The Vayne in my game DC'd for a total of 13 minutes before we lost that game. I think that it is a logical idea to make it so that if a person has been disconnected for 5-10 minutes at any point in the game that we should be allowed to remake. And granted someone should be punished for this, I understand that the Vayne may have disconnected and not quit so she should not lose LP, but there has to be a way where the community does not have to suffer for something that is out of their control
