Jhin W Bug

I have noticed this in almost every game that I have played as Jhin and this bug actually affects gameplay drastically. As most people know Jhin's W has the ability to root if the enemy is hit with an auto attack or steps on a lotus trap. The way that one tells when they can root an enemy with the W is by a symbol that appears next to the enemy. Now I have had numerous games where this symbol would appear and remain on the enemy champion even after minutes pass since they had last been hit. This bug then causes one to believe that a root is available on that champion and they use the W and it does not root them. This is a game breaking bug as it causes Jhin players to misplay because they believe they can root an enemy and start going in. Then they realize they cannot get the root off and are out of position.
