may someone explain to me why certain players think these things = skill??

some players (and i dont mean only bronze i also see plat-diamonds say this from time to time) think the following things equal skill

"im mastery lv 7" "i got a skin" "i have over xyz games with this champ" "im main xy" "check my kda/last game/history"

please someone explain to me how any of these things mean that you are good/good with that champ? because i do not understand it. THE CLOSEST i could imagine is mastery lv 7. but still nope. my worst champ by far is vel koz. if i play vel koz bots stomp me. even i managed to get a s+ on him 2 times in my ~ 50 games i tried him. it was luck.

Because skin gives you bonus swag stat, which caused your lane opponent to play poorly while in awe over your swag

So if you check someone's match history and their scores are like 11-1, 14-5, 12-2, 9-0, 21-7, 24-2, 12-5, 7-0, 19-1, all with over 60% kill participation, you can't derive from that, that he's probably pretty good with the role? Or at least he's probably better than someone with consistent 1:1 KDA ratio mid laners? You would rather take the 1 KDA mid laner, with a much worse win rate, than the 5.0 KDA ratio mid laner with a better win rate?

To answer your question, people think that someone with a better win rate and KDA average, wins more often and performs better than someone with a terrible KDA average and win rate. Therefore, you would think the latter is less skilled than the former. Kinda makes sense too, doesn't it?

But yes, mastery level, amount of games played, skins, and whether you main the champ or not, means nothing.
