What do you think the "Block" feature does? Stop you from being matched with them? If so then that is seriously NOT how it works.

It doesn't matter what he thinks it does. I block players all the time. I want no more interactions with cheaters.

Just how many can be "Blocked"? I mean to seriously have a full block list sounds absurd! At least imho. As I've said I've been playing for a year now and have yet to actually feel the real need to use it.

Ya I don't really use block. I don't mute that often either. Someone has to be constantly negative for me to even mute them. I'm fine just ignoring people most of the time and even a broken clock is right twice a day. Then they would have to add me after the game and continue to be toxic. Then finally try to re-add me after I removed them from my friends list.

No point in blocking someone from just what happens in a game. The chances of getting in another game with the same person is low and even lower since I am going to take a few minutes after a game with a toxic person to make sure I don't get matched with them.

That actually makes sense, and its so true that a broken clock will ALWAYS be right twice a day. I usually barely have time to have one game a night (if I'm lucky!) on the days that I work considering that my shift normally is 2:30pm to 12:30am four days a week. So i rarely see the same players. Plus I got a backlog of other games to enjoy as well so those take up time as well.

Your pointless discussion, means only one thing to me, players have a acquired a new hack from the various cheater forums which allows them to keep you from blocking them from the post game lobby.

Riot needs to look into this.

That doesn't make sense and seems like a very pathetic "Hack"... The block list is only meant to stop you from seeing that person's chat. Kinda seems like a stupid idea for something to hacked to make it "impossible" (or nearly) to block the hacker.

Often groups of pathetic hacks are bundled together as extras. Riiot needs to examine this urgently, anyone using such a hack needs to be instabanned.

Not really? It should still block their chat even in the post game lobby if I'm not mistaken. I've yet to actually NEED to use that feature and I've already been playing for a year now. If I did have to use it then that means I've had to see (multiple times and very often) that players chat to actually use that feature. Though if its something could actually be reported I'd use that feature much sooner so that something is done about that players chat. That way no one else has to be subjected to what I experienced.

If it actually blocked you from being matched with/against that person (or persons) then it would just cause queue times to increase (exponentially possibly as ELO increases) since it now has to check if you have stated: "DON'T PUT ME WITH/AGAINST THESE PLAYERS!"

Stupid. We should have the right to block toxic awful shitter assholes. Cue times are already long enough. Hell, i'd wait 20 mins to avoid a 45 min game with a toxic shithead.

Same thing just happened to me!!!

...but it was just one player. I wonder if these are Riot 'throw-bots' which naturally they would want to keep you from blocking.

I ended up getting around it after the end game screen, by manually entering the name. It's might also be some new hack discovered by botters and boosters
