bots farming for lvl 30 accounts is getting a bit out of hand

Co-op vs AI seems rather infested. Seems every other game one of the five players is a bot. The actual riot bots are at least somewhat useful, these farm bots just run down mid and occasionally side lanes. The ones that wander are worse, at least when three go mid the dmg is contained. I just suffered through an hour long intermediate bot game. Three friendlies were bots and the fourth was either a new player or a high end script capable of some chat. The intAI team all reached full build and the game was nearly lost. I ended with 71/4/13, 578 cs, and 224,000 dmg to enemy champs. This is not reasonable for actual new players trying to get used to the game. Below lvl 30 pvp is swimming with smurfs and now the co-op Vs ai is swimming with feeding script accounts. New players are a good thing and it seems like there is not much in place to look out for them.

Is there a solution in the works or is the plan to just swat bot accounts down as you see them after the fact.

I don't get it, it is so obvious who they are and so easy to detect them, there should be a just as easy way to report and immediately get rid of them. None of these should ever reach Lv 30.

From what has been discussed, Riot is aware, and their reasoning is that they do bans in waves. This is meant to give less information to the people who own the Bot accounts as to how the system caught them.

In reality though, the bots are so blatantly obvious in their play patterns that banning bot accounts more frequently would just create more a nuisance for the people who own these Bot accounts and thus decrease the amount of them.

They're always going to be around though, if it's a free-to-play game than there'll be people willing to exploit the game for personal gain. With just how easy it is to do, Bot accounts just won't dissipate. The only thing that can be done is to really just increase the rate at which these accounts are banned, because making a barrier for new players to have to sit through just to remove some Bot accounts is a horrible idea.

cough CS:GO cough

However CS:GO's Prime Matchmaking would be pretty nice as an optional feature in League so that you could activate it and only play with 'Prime' players only.

Riot likes bots because they boost the number of games played and the number of "active players" the game has. These numbers get shown to investors and advertisers (esports) and Riot can't legally lie about them. This is especially helpful in key regions like NA where the game has stopped growing. Luckily for Riot the bots in PvP queues (ARAM, 3v3) tend to get matched against each other once they hit 30 because their MMRs are all downs-tier low. This means Riot's core and most vocal fans don't usually notice there are most likely more bots than players.

Simple solution that makes Rito more money. Sell level 30 accounts. The XP boosts are a joke and are not worth the money. This kills all the botters and helps make the game a better place. Simple.

As for catching them, Rito can barely catch intentionally feeders, or scripters for that matter. You expect this company to tell if someone is botting? They're probably just really new or bad at the game. Go 0/36 in a ranked game? Probably just a bad game.

There is a solution for this if riot insert reCAPTCHA every time yo press "Play" bots will not be able to play, reCAPTCHA is annoying I know but it still an effective solution and the players will understand that.

I played a game called "Dekaron" and it was fantastic until the bots became everywhere and I saw players leaving the game because of that I think if Riot solve this they will lose the game and the players.

Sorry for bad English XD

You know if they actually bothered to ban some of these accts it'd help with general toxicity too. What usually happens to a player who's on LoL everyday when their acct is banned? They'll usually pop on an alt, and there's more incentive the closer to their main it is in content. IP farming accounts with bots is very incentivized for these types of players since they'll have more need for an account. Sure, there's players like Ranked lovers who just want to take a crack at the placement process again and not risk LP, but if you're banned you're likely to still be playing since you invested so much time into getting good at the game. Disincentivizing bots forces players to at least actually play games to grind an account up.

Report them as you see them for scripting is what I do. They both are int feeding and scripting by logic.

I also should note that some people actually monitor their automated game, so the chat can be misleading. I've seen a few people chat actively, but their gameplay is nothing short of completely automated. They casted skills in exact sequence every time with exactly the same center target of themselves, often as soon as a minion appeared. (They were Nami.) They chatted saying they weren't bots when I asked, but I was not convinced.

Riot should figure out something to this.

The worst thing is that someone (who is commanding these bots accounts) is selling these accounts online, and Riot doesn't do anything about it.

Last night I played as Diana jungle and had four bots on my team. We lost the game, and nobody else (except for the Jarvan who got one assist) was involved in any kills, but they died upwards of 10 times per person. Ludicrous.

My friend played an intermediate bot game with 4 bots on his team that were designed to run it down continually. He actually lost the bot game because the other bots were so fed that he couldnt 1v5. My friend knows that this type of shit tends to happen, imagine this happening to a new player?

On the optimist's side it teaches you how to carry by narrowing down who needs to be shut down
