would i get a notification if my report worked?

my friend recently got a message from riot saying his reports of someone was looked into and they got punished. how come i never got a message like that? i have more than 1000 ignores on my list and i pretty much reports all of them but i didn't get a single notice from riot. wtf did my report do then?

well also back then the people who fuck my game over and was on my ignore list would team up with me right next game. i don't know how riot programmed this game that i need to have the same troll to fuck with me twice. forget report, the most blatant 'ignore' feature won't work either. recently this hasn't appear yet. but i don't play as much so i can't say this issue is resolved. would it kill you riot to just tell me that the fucking trolls i reported won't be teamed up with me again?
