Now that school has started, the best time to play for me is during the day. Problem is, like most >18 year olds, I have a job. I really wish there was a place to play with people my age instead of the 15 year olds who come here and cuss, say derogatory, racist things, and are the overall worst behaved people in the community. It's easy to not get tilted when you live in the real world and have a big boy job, but these preppy high school kids who get everything handed to them don't seem to be able to take constructive criticism for anything. Makes the games miserable for those of us who play a couple of games every few days and just wanna have fun.

It would be great, except the truth is:

A: Age brackets are unenforceable, kids just automatically enter 18+ any time they see an age check.

B: Adults are trash, too.

So you can play with people your age that cuss, say derogatory and racist things? Toxic behavior happens at all ages. People don't just magically become civilized once they turn 18.

The issue here is that age is super unreliable as far as determining in-game behavior. I've played with super chill and mature 13-14 year old players, and incredibly toxic 30+ year old players. There's also no way to enforce accurate age confirmation even if that WAS proven to be a reliable method of predicting toxicity (which, again, it isn't).

Oh so you suddenly have a job and are the god of maturity? That's not how it works. It's not like younger people don't have any problems and are stress free, and it's not like getting a job makes you any different from them.

I get what you mean but honestly if you need a job to be mature then there is just something wrong with you.

As a 30 year old man, I agree with your sentiment of not wanting to play with whiney, edgy, emotional, tilty ass people... but they aren't all kids, my dude. Check your elitism. Adults can be even worse.

Agreed. Losing ranked games because kids thinks they can "3v1 ez" as Yasuo.
