My account got hacked and permabanned

I've been playing on this account for the past week or so, I haven't even touched my main account, Arthimetes, in that time.

I got home from work yesterday and decided to log into Arthimetes since I heard ranked is coming back soon, I was gonna prepare to start playing ranked again. I tried logging in several times and nothing worked, so I went to the email-address on the account and found out that my email was also hacked.

I contacted Riot support and this is what I got back:

Greetings Summoner,

I understand that this situation isn't easy for you, and we do want to help you here, so I personally looked at your account and didn't find any evidence that this account was compromised.

Regardless of if it even was another person who had done this the outcome in this case would not change. To the other players in this match it didn't matter who was playing at the time, they were only made victim to the excessively toxic chat exhibited by this account. For this reason I will not be able to reverse or modify this suspension.

So the person who contacted me LITERALLY said that even though it was another person who got on my account and was playing it doesn't matter.

So if your account gets hacked and gets permabanned from the hacker, oh well? That's just not right.

And I don't understand how there's "no evidence" when I'm unable to log in to my account at all, my email was also hacked but I finally got it back and changed the password yesterday evening and found out that whoever hacked my email was also trying to get into my WoW account and my PSN account.

And I looked up my account match history and my account was playing games at times I literally can't because I would be at work for those times, there's nothing BUT evidence my account was hacked.

Riot now just fully blew me off with:

"I have sufficiently explained the matter of this suspension and as such do not see any further concerns I can address. If you have anything else you would like to talk to me about please let me know. Otherwise, I shall consider this matter closed."

They explained nothing to me, just that my account got banned and that even though it was a hacker they're not giving me my account back.

He was saying that, regardless of who was playing on the account, the account exhibited toxic behavior enough to be banned, with no signs that it was compromised or hacked (meaning if it was someone else, they had your login info most likely).

Riot has almost always taken the stance that if the account was not compromised, it is the users fault and ultimately their responsibility to keep their login info secure.

You might be out of luck.

Keep pestering them. This is one of those cases where Riot should be able to dig deeper and actually find out you didn't do it. They've unbanned accounts that where hacked before, they can do it again.

Tbh man he didn't say it literally was another person... he said even IF it was. He didn't find evidence that your account was compromised, so he (and you) can't prove you were hacked, and it's your responsibility to keep your account safe anyways, so you were punished. Sorry, dude. That really sucks, but that's just the universal rule to prevent abuse.

Had he found evidence that would've proven your case, I'm sure it would've been lifted. But if it was just evidence that doesn't necessarily prove anything, you would still be banned.

Wait a minute ur saying u sent a ticket to riot support telling them that ur account got hacked and they emailed u back and here I am stuck in the same situation as u and I still haven't even got a reply from them and its already been 5 days since my account got compromised.

So you're saying someone hacked your account, to log in and play on it, so that they could be excessively toxic in games, just to get the account banned??

i did had this once in 2014 ish... my account was hacked by some dude from israel (i think i did mentioned the name once and people were reminding of not sharing other person's name account, and also he threatened me to hack and he did)... also he actually played 2 games with my account as fiora which is toxic as hell and got perma banned

first step is support riot games and report this thing... then ask someone in your League friend list to send the screenshot of his conversation with that hacker ( i asked one of my bud to talk to that hacker who is using my account, and i have the evidence to be provided so its legit that wasn't my intention) then keep in contact with the rioters until your account is decided to be acquired back or gone forever
