Please keep open mind. Bans and free accounts.

The problem: Yasuo is being toxic in my game.

The encouraged solution: Mute and report Yasuo.

Look, closely. That hasn't actually solved my problem. Yasuo is still, and will always be toxic in that game.

A preemptive mute solves verbal toxicity. It does nothing for game play toxicity.

Back to mute and report, Yasuo is banned. Yasuo buys a level 30 account. Yasuo is back in queue within 5 minutes.

To recap, Yasuo is toxic in my game and is still playing. Even after muting, reporting, and banning. The problem has not been solved.

My humble opinion: Improve non-verbal communication. Implement mute feature in champion select and auto mute people on a mute list. Stop banning accounts. Implement a personal surrender system with report functionality. Extreme offenders are black listed but not banned.

Your use of the words "meta" and "metaland" is confusing and makes your point a little more difficult to understand.

For the people who aren't going to stop abusing teammates, it is difficult to justify keeping them in the game and on their original account but in a permanently muted state. This unavoidably lowers the quality of the game for the players who have a teammate they cannot communicate with. Furthermore, if the mute is a problem for that player, they could get a new account even under your proposed system. In the end, it takes choice ("listen to this obnoxious teammate or mute him?") away from normal players, and gives choice ("stay muted or get a new account?") to toxic players.

And without bans what do you do about people who run it down a lane with intent of feeding Or people who adj just because they dont want their team to win Honestly toxicity is not that bad if you just /mute all at the start of a game you can't just fix inters

I dont really see how this solves any of these problems. Like you said they are still toxic, but how is muting them permanently going to solve the issue? I just dont see how NOT banning people for breaking the rules of any sorts would help improve. You are basically giving a free pass towards other offenses like hacking, trolling.

The sad fact is there is nothing they can really do to solve the issue, but at least with banning them they need to make a new account, which usually means making a new email. If this is a something that is happening frequent to you, i doubt you'd waste time keep on making new accounts!
