I am sick and tired of getting reported for wanting to surrender.

"Why are we not surrendering?" Should not be reportable. "Look, they're 50 and 30." Should not be reportable. "They have two inhibs, a baron, and 3 dragons. Can we surrender yet?" Should not be reportable. "Their Yi has 30 kills" Should not be reportable.

Yet every time I have been reported, it has been over FF drama.

Please riot, either fix the surrender system or the report system, because this is in no way fair.

EDIT: I am currently in game where a vayne afked in the first five minutes. My three other teammates are refusing to ff. I can't say anything in this situation or I get reported.

I am tired of getting into games where I see people saying "gg ff @ 20" If you are apart of that attitude you will find yourself reported because it is negative and toxic to team cohesion.

Follow these steps and you will never have to worry

Initiate a surrender vote
If it fails, keep playing the game
No need to say anything negative in chat about why the vote failed, just play the game

Honestly, it's negative attitude, so it's reportable. Doubt you'd ever get punished for it though.

Nothing lights the fires of anger in my soul like a quitter on my team. The comebacks that I have seen since I started playing league (5 years ago) are nuts. And it's not like it's once every 100 games, it's every 5 on average. Wanting to surrender would make somebody like me salty. If I see a glimmer of hope then I won't even think of quitting. What grinds my gears even more is when people say "I'm not having fun anymore so I want to quit". They visibly start to throw even more and it makes me so angry. Don't be one of those people that aggravates people like me. There are a lot of us who don't enjoy losing and I would definitely report you for constantly trying to surrender. Negative Attitude, Griefing, whatever you want.

You're entitled to your own opinion. Your teammates are entitled to theirs. Instead of being respectful, you're talking down to them, implying they're somehow wrong in what is a purely subjective vote. Statements like "can we surrender yet?" are detrimental to the team spirit and, frankly, suck the joy out of the game. And yes, people can still enjoy such games.

You might not understand it. You might not agree. But you have to respect it. Just as I have to respect it when people surrender a game that in my opinion is still perfectly winnable and/or fun. That's how votes work.
