Is Banning Team Pick Toxic?

I had a team mate who banned my initial pick. Not because the other team might of picked them, which I would have been OK with, but because he "didn't want to lose". He claimed that my pick was an idiot pick and warranted a ban just because he didn't want me playing that champ. Is this toxic? Or even reportable?

it's HIGHLY frowned upon. but technically not against the rules

I would say 100% yes. What was your pick?

Pro tip : if someone bans your off meta pick, (especially in normals) just take an even more off meta pick, just to trigger them. (but dont troll xD)

No. It's a jerk move, but ultimately it's his ban to do with as he pleases. Just stop using pick intent. It was never a good idea for Rito to add that anyway.

Like I tell the shaco top main every time I get him in game.

We all get one ban and your crying and picks are toxic, not my bans.

Going 38 percent win rate off meta in my pub game is anti social behavior and I'm going to do what I can to tell you to f off. Make other bronze friends if you want to pretend you aren't trying cause you're bad.

I wouldn't have banned the kayle mid though. It's generally stupid cause all the ap burst champs will burst her and walk away but she counters a few mid champs.

Meh, chances are if they rage, they are bad anyways. I understand having a "main", but if you cant handle playing a backup every now and again then I imagine you are a dodge troll anyways. The only time I show who i want to play is when I want to Annie, because she can be banned down in wood 5 division where im at.

I think that that's very mean spirited given his reason. Sometimes it might be somewhat acceptable because a certain champion has a high pick rate and the player on your team is picking the champion later, but generally, banning an intended champion on one's team is a mean/uncaring thing to do. Reportable? For his reason, I would say yes, because he's insulting your champion pick.

It could be considered harassment. If you do off-meta. it's best not to say a word and watch them rage after you pick because then you are not affected as much.

100% yes i would say it is, and a lot of the time its unwarranted. You could pick a viable thing for that role and they can say "oh the last "..." that i played with lost so you cant play him."
