When you put a toxic player on blast with facts and you're the one that gets chat banned

Title says it all, toxic players get thrown with facts, they get butthurt, they're in a premade so they get their entire premade to report for the hopes of something happening, and amazing enough rito lets this happen. Had a toxic player, hit him with facts where he starts flaming and not grouping when he's a support trying to solo split and not ward, his premade of three got me a chat restriction because I said he is making unintelligent decisions that is costing us the game, oh well this game and company makes me laugh at how inconsistent it's "devotion to the community" is always questioned when I log on

Facts and harassment are not mutually exclusive. Just because something is a fact doesn't mean it can't be used to harass someone.

tru tru like who cares if ur sup is split pushihng... at this point if u r losing the game u might as well have him split push... he is worht like no gold anymore anyway

all these riot hate posts just in reality make no more sense to me

like look at the stuff ur posting... Let me hit u with facts how abt that...

ur probably mad that u lost the game or were losing it so u look to the most unreasonable player atm which is the suppport....

my facts: when you are losing, and your support, who probably isn't the carry and doenst have more than 3 kills, is split pushing, you try to be nice the tell him/her that doing so is not necessarily helping the team. However after multiple tries in conveying ur message, they ignore you causing ur anger to build and maybe suggest harsher truths. IN REALITY split pushing as a feeding support will get you towers better than having a 5v5 which probably is already lost.

Furthermore the enemy team doesn't get any gold from killing the support (or close to none... like 100) bcuz of how weak and useless he/she is.

My facts? I didn't state any facts. Because I don't have them. You do, though. So why don't you actually post them, instead of telling us your reasons/excuses/justifications from your perspective.

You want to hit me with facts: Post your logs. Because those are the only facts that matter.

The fact that it was a premade makes no difference. Reports from a premade group only count as one report, precisely to avoid this type of abuse.

Reports from multiple separate team members might stack. We aren't certain yet. But premades cannot use their numbers to abuse the report system.

Why would they want us to think that, if it isn't true? It's not like it'd be that complicated to pull that off.

Besides... all the evidence I've seen (and remember) was A) anecdotal B) absurdly low sample size C) unverifiable D) by untrustworthy sources (read: People that were upset about being punished by the system for verifiably toxic chatlogs)

If I have no reasonable evidence of either side, I'm gonna go with theory that makes the most sense. And that is certainly not Riot refusing to implement something that can be implemented easily, has obvious advantages, and then lying about it.

Because I for example, am not one of those upset about being punished. Quite the opposite. I've never been punished.

I just think it's not as everyone makes it seem, I witnessed it first hand, and I was the one reporting someone.

I reported someone with my premade and he got punished, whilst my friend (who was arguing-flaming with the solo player) received no punishment. I'm ashamed to admit my premade friend actually overstepped and probably ended up in the wrong as he took it too far - he was initially defending himself. But hey, no punishment. And the solo player who was 9x? Instant message feedback.

The solo player had no prior punishments, it was his first chat restriction, so while it could be a coincidence that our report was the one that triggered the punishment, it is also plausible to believe that multiple reports had a bigger impact on him getting punished seeing as two people were both going ham and flaming eachother, yet the solo player got punished.

Coincidence? Maybe, maybe. I have no hidden agenda to believe either side. It's just what I have observed and what I've made out of the situations I've witnessed.

There's also the countless times I've reported someone while playing solo, and rarely do I receive a feedback message, or by following the player I reported, do I see him get punished. But hey, when I mass report someone with my team/premade, I somehow almost always get a report feedback message.

Again, coincidence? Sure, maybe.

In addition to that, I also personally believe that while premades should not hold that power over solo players, just imagine a toxic player getting reported by all 9 other players. Don't you think their reports should have a bigger weight than a single report? He got reported by 9 people. It's obviously serious or he wouldn't have received so many reports. We all see it every day playing. There's that one person crying for "report" every game. Maybe he had a little spat with you and decides to report you at the end of the game. Don't you believe that if your whole team reported you, the system should awknowledge that everyone found you toxic? and not just that 1 salty guy who probably reported you for the silliest reason.

Now don't get me wrong I can understand why, if it really is the case that 9 reports count the same as 1, because people can abuse it - that's obviously true. However I also see it as logical if multiple reports count more or draw more attention to the reported player by the system or by a manual check.

EDIT: and honestly it's not just that one example. I've stumbled across this feeling several times, which is now making me "speak out" and see what people think. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong, it's just what I feel and believe atm by seeing stuff first hand.
