I wonder why people are leaving league

So ive just been in my final promo game and my tryndamere decides to not show up for the first two minutes of the game. He then realises he has no jungle and starts taking my lane then he tells me to KILL MYSELF... So i decided to leave the game because well thats unacceptable and im not wasting 30mins of my time because some idiot is a **&^ . No doubt i will get a penalty for afk but he will get away scot free.

Should have made it clearer, im happy to take my penalty for afking. He wont get shit tho

Nobody told you 2 wrongs don't make a right? So your remaining 3 innocence teammates not only have to deal with that Trynd but also an afk 4v5 game. You deserve that penalty and how the hell do you know your other 3 teammates won't report the Trynd?

This assumes that people are leaving League, for the first thing.

And yes, you will get a penalty for AFKing, because you AFKed the game. It’s like saying “well someone took my wallet so I went and robbed a bank”. No, that doesn’t make robbing the bank okay.

My god dude, that's the reason you afked?

I thought someone trolled you or inted your lane or something. But somebody being mean to you in chat was the reason you left your team at a 4v5?

It shouldn't have been much of a task to ignore/mute the Trynd and just continue playing the game... I guess someone saying mean things to you is a huge sign to afk and fuck your team over.

Well, unless someone else on the team reports him then yeah, he's gonna get away scot-free. You have to get a report to get punished. I hate that you had to deal with the toxicity, it sucks. You can always send a support ticket to riot about the behavior since you can't report in post game from ya know, not being in there.
