Can you report a player for forcing you to stay in a game where you're having terrible lag?

I just played a game where i had over 700 ping the majority of the game and just wanted to leave, but two players kept saying no and refused to ff when the game was over minute 1. Can we report players for doing something such as this?

No. Everyone is allowed to decide on their own if they wish to surrender or not. If they do not decide to surrender, you are free to leave the game, but you will be punished for it if it triggers a LeaverBuster on your account.

You should not expect the surrender tool to be used to get you out of a game early that you simply don’t want to be in anymore.

You can report anyone for any reason. It is an option that is always available to you.

However, NO ONE will be punished for refusing to surrender. Look at it the other way around. Can your 4 teammates report you and get you punished for FORCING them to surrender a game they still want to play? Is that fair?

Yeah leaverbuster will punish you for having bad internet if you often quit because of ping issues. This is as it should be. League is a game that requires 10 people to commit their time for half an hour or more or the game won't be enjoyable. If you can't commit to a game because your system isn't set up for it then don't promise your team that you'll be there. You're ruining the game for 9 other players.

I've had bad internet it the past, and I didn't play much league because of it. When I did, I would hop into a custom game and make sure everything was running fine for a bit before going into a matchmade game. I know how you feel, it sucks, but there's nothing you can do.
