Goodbye League of Legends

Well it was a fun three years, but I finally got my permaban this week, after three two-week bans and hundreds of chat restricted games, mostly from telling others not to be toxic and then getting reported out of spite. Riot's response to my email about those bans was to simply mute people and don't even try to have that conversation because it does not work and only leads to more reports. I can confirm by my permaban that this is the case. The automation of the ban system is Riot's decision, and it has left me nothing else to say except:

Goodbye League of Legends.

Yes, it was certainly not you. It was not you for all those punishments at all.

Absolutely.

Definitely.

Bye.

Honestly, they're right that trying to have communication never works. I've played some 400+ League games in my life, and I can remember maybe ten where our team communicated well and effectively. They should just remove the chat, IMO. If people have anything useful to say to eachother, they're already in Skype together.

I love it how all these permaban posts always blame the system but never themselves.

I've played this game for 5 years, give or take, all with chatting with both allied and enemy teams, both in playful banter or even aggravated discussions and I have yet to see a single restriction or warning on me, so...Yeah, can't really sympathize with you.

You'll get reported for muting your whole team too if they notice you aren't listening to their commands or insults sometimes so you're still kind of screwed. Most likely intentional feeding or helping the other team, w/e. they feel like.

It's not intrinsically correct to let others insult you, however they please, and not reply to them. It's one path but there's two paths you can approach it from. Some believe standing up for yourself or others is a better way to live your life, other's think it's best to ignore all in the spirit of being above what you are experiencing. Both are correct but neither are right or wrong. However Riot only approves of one. At least you had a spine.

The classic example is a bully at school. Even from a parenting approach some will say ignore the bully and go through the proper channels to try to correct it. Others will tell them to stand up for themselves. Both could play out right or wrong.

LoL is just a reboot of a wc3 custom player made map from 1998 anyways. Prob better off without it.

Well, if you remained toxic after receiving several punishments, then you have earned the perma-ban. Also, 'spite' reports made no difference, Riot reviews logs.

That's BS. I get reported every 2 out of 3 games (ish) and I have not been chat restricted in like a full year.

You're lying.

Countless chat restrictions and 3 two week bans?

LMAO!
