Toxicity ain't wurf
In my case, I had a teemo trolling my lane. I'm sure we can all relate. I blew up at him. I'd had some instances with toxic behavior before and I realized as soon as I finished blowing up that I'd said a few things that weren't either sportsmanlike or humanitarian. I have been through a lot recently, and it's no excuse for my behavior. Lots of changes in my life stressing me out. So what is my point here? Playing league, as fun as it usually is, when you're already stressing, is a great way to accidentally let your life stress spill over on others. Which makes for a very unpleasant experience for ten people. Tilting and feeding and building statikk shiv and guinsoo on Anivia is not the solution. Cussing out the Teemo isn't the solution either. It's probably in your best interest not to play while stressed, and even if you're not, flaming gets you nowhere. Your account goes on a one way trip to the void, and all your work goes down the drain. Saying things and then apologizing isn't the solution either. Best to keep your mouth shut and not say things you will regret later. I sure as hell regret every last toxic thing I've ever said. Farewell to all, and though I know that apologies do not mend wounds, I am sorry to all whose league experience I made unpleasant in any way. Let this not only apply to league. Let this apply to the world we live in, that homophobic, racist, or other prejudicial statements, whether real or perceived, be condemned in order to let our world live together more peacefully. Most of the stereotypes we declare don't apply to but an infinitesmal fraction of a percentage of the group we are condemning. May all those who are toxic learn from the mistakes of this bird who is no longer the word. X Anivia X
