Chat Restriciton

When you get reported by other players, does it take into account the other players' messages? I just now got a 25-Game Chat Restriction, while I'm usually a very avid team player and not toxic at all. I did argue with my team when they started flaming me for being the only one now doing well bot lane (completely unintentionally, mind you)

This is the second time I have been punished, the first one I had a shitty day and just tilted and spammed GG - it was well-deserved.

Anyways, I guess my question is, if there is anyway to appeal or lighten the punishment, because I talk a lot and have a lot of honors as well: a good community player.
