If you AFK in ranked,

you should be automatically exempt from future ranked games for at least 1 week. No ranked for a week is a good punishment although harsh. I just had a nasus 2 games in a row troll, feed and then afk. 2 games in a row, reported him. No punishment. I don't care if someone is toxic, because we can mute them. Rito, we NEED to crack down on persistent afks. reporting is like a traffic light button, it doesn't do anything, but it feels good. But once you learn it is a gimmick, it gets extremely boring. People in this game want to climb out of bronze, but they can't do it with persistent AFK's

2 months ago you had a game as udyr where you were afk from the beginning, 0 cs, nothing bought 20:43 minutes into the game. I guess you couldn't connect. You would have get banned for a week also, is that fair?

I'll never understand people that do crap like this. "Stirring the pot" / "cuz it's fun" is never an excuse, despite it being given most times. People confuse me. Especially for a ranked game, that's not just trolling, that's being a prick. And as someone who loves Nasus...just, sadface :c

True, there should be something harsher than this silly low priority queue. It maybe shouldn't start with 1 week, maybe 1 day -> 3 days -> 1 week -> 2 weeks etc.

I just had a ask who came back 10- minutes later But I know nothing will happen to him, just me for being toxic towards him ofc.

They will never do that because they are players who improve their statistics just like you. Your experience is irrelevant from business perspective.

That seems harsh mainly because there could be any other reason for that person leaving the game. I mean unless you have the perfect internet connection, and the perfect computer you cannot tell me your computer/internet has every crapped out on you at least once?

Not only that but Riot isn't known for having the best servers. People get bugsplat all the time and to be punished for something totally out of your control is wrong. Now if there was a way to distinguish between someone actually leaving the game, and bugsplat errors I could agree with you, but again since it's not possible I'm not sure how your plan will work. If people are doing it intentionally they'll just go on another account and do the same thing. If it's an innocent person you basically just locked them out of your game for a week and accusing them of a crime they didn't commit!
