New banning system

Can i get an answer on why doesn't riot invent a new banning system that will be fair for both players and riot. Something like World Of Tanks banning system. The ban can be for 1 hour and it gets longer and longer as bans repeat,and duration of ban can be reset by playing by rules.There will be a strict list of rules and if they are broken the player will receive a 1-24hr ban or chat restrict. That will help the game much,just like it does in other games where this system exists as you can see on example.

Well that basicly is the system. If you behave wrong you get a ban or chat restriction. If you keep behaving worse you will get to the next punishment tier up to the perma. If you keep behaving well you can go down punishment tiers.

Yes it is the system if you keep behaving wrong and not respecting the rules,i know dozens of my friends that casually just troll and i know people that troll in my games and if someone trolls hard then i check their account and in 95% cases they aren't banned.But with system like this,you aren't allowed to troll 1 or 2 times and get out and do that over and over again,you break the rules,you get banned.Simple as that.

amen, i am permabanned for not so much being toxic i can send you the chat logs. but i have severe ptsd and nope banned from bein gin combat over seas and riot hate the military so there is that. but permabanned or suspending leads to lost revenue because many of those people will stop playing league and that is fact. suspending or permabanning is not the answer having prisoners island as well as perm chat restriction. that is by far worse then being banned lol. im lke i cant play well that sucks time to find another game so on and so forth. riot creates its own toxic enviroment becuase A. every one hates to supp and God forbid you choose some one not janna or raka and boom its your fault for not having infinite cdrs and max heals. but compare aram to SR and aram less toxic due to you cant snowball annd matches are shorter. SR say yi kills every one 2 times or 3 people 3 times or similar and boom gg game over and the supp gets blamd 90% the jungler 9 % and every one else 1%

And how would you do it in practice? For example verbal abuse is the easiest to catch, right? Well, being vulgar doesn't mean you are offensing by itself and most people don't have serious problems with it (this isn't a kindergarten after all...). But what an automated system can catch is nothing more but these phrases - and those guys still can tell you their opinion about yout mom and that what you should do with her without using any of the "forbidden" words. Solution? No. The best if the players judge was it toxc or not and report the offender. Cool. But you can't throw around permabans by every report as the trolls and those angry little kids still has a report button and - as you know - they are reporting each other in every match for "feeding", "ks", "not doing what I think you should" and all those perfectly non-reportable issues...

I haven't read an idea here how should the system judge what is bannable and what isn't actually.

And how exactly? Your system changes nothing about how trolling is deteced. it only changes how its punished and your system is much easyer on trolls. detecing trolls isnt easy concidering there are people who are just not good at the game or like to play ofmeta which isnt against the rules.
