My account was suspended?

So..... I'm confused. After school today (May 31st), I came home and wanted to play some League. Booted it up and tried to log in. I got a message telling me that my account was permanently suspended and to check my email for more details. I did and I discovered that for some reason, Rito thinks I was using some sort of hack or script or " banned due to the use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to your League of Legends client." Now, I don't use anything like that. Like, the closest thing I've used is a custom skin installer that installed a gromp retexture for Tahm Kench, but that was back in something like 6.5. I'm not entirely sure why this is here, or what program I'm apparently using, but I'd love to shed some light on this. For all I know this might be a virus or something that I'd like to clear up.

I had it today, they need to release it or show me proof, which they can't cause i havent used any 3rd party stuff. Im 32 and play solely for fun...

Copy/paste response:

9/10 times one of these ban waves come out (3rd party suspensions are always waves, as the front page of PB&M implies), people who claim innocence either:

Shared their account with a friend who uses 3rd-party software (account holder is responsible for their account).
Gave out their account info to a booster who uses 3rd-party software to easily win games (see above, plus boosting itself is against the TOS).
Have another 3rd-party software (or had one at some point) and are lying about it.

Not saying you're guilty, there is always a small chance of a false-positive. Just saying that I'm not 100% convinced due to an overwhelming history of posters before you.

Accounts that are caught using hacks to gain an unfair competitive advantage are subject to permanent suspension. We work hard to preserve a fair and competitive environment in League of Legends. Regardless of intent, use of unauthorized third-party programs is explicitly against the Terms of Use, which can be found here:

Keep in mind that account sharing of any kind is also against the Terms of Use. You are responsible for all activity on your account, so be sure to keep your account information to yourself.

I still haven't done anything to my League Client. I want proof that there is something on my computer that is doing this so I can get rid of it as soon as possible. They mention that they can't tell me anything more, which I can understand as people might just learn how to get around this situation in the future. But I never, ever scripted or anything to do with a thirdparty program, exception being to install custom skins.

Hopefully Riot sees this and does something about it as I don't seem to be the only one being unfairly banned.

I believe if you download anything related to league of legends without their approval should be bannable. The only thing I ever use is elphant to check the skins I have and if they ever announce that it shouldn't be used anymore i'll stop using it.

The problem is it might not be that you have something on your computer that is enhancing your game, but that you play good enough that others believe you are scripting.

I play with this guy everyday and I know FOR SURE there is no way he has scripted or use third-party programs. He is just one of my favorite silver plebs. Please spare him RIto. : ^)
