Dear Toxic People

Dear Toxic People,

I myself, am a player of the League community who has flamed, trolled, just was rude to people who did and didn't deserve it. Yes, I am an awful person, but I am trying to recover from being a toxic arsehole. A past game of mine I recently embraced the fact that yet I troll people for being bad, but people troll me for being bad when I know I'm having a bad game. So here is a little letter to all the toxic people in the League community.

Dear toxic people, why do you flame and trash people for being "bad" and doing really stupid shit, while in other games, people flame you and trash you for being bad and doing stupid shit, and you just tell them you are having a bad game. You ARE having a bad game(s) and you HATE when people are toxic to you, but yet you think it is perfectly fine to just be so mean and so rude to other people who do not deserve it.

What do you accomplish when being toxic? Do you get the "satisfaction" of you getting angry or the "anger" of other people? What do you like about being toxic! Do you regret being toxic? Do you think it is perfectly FINE being toxic? I understand trash talk and just making fun of some stupid plays with the occasional "?" in all chat (and that is the WORST feeling in the world when someone "?"s you.) I understand the occasional ? ping in chat because its funny... but what is not funny, is when you spam pings and spam "you're so bad (should more be like your because people are illiterate assholes (I'm probably making a fool out of myself with all the grammar mistakes)) or "you're trash". Why do you do it. Why!

This game is a toxic place, one of the most toxic communities. What I love about this community is when someone in all chat who is being harassed or bullied online goes in all chat and says "report [Insert name here] because [reason]" and the people on the enemy team are like "stfu" or "no one cares" or who actually bullies you WITH the team! People should at least be more nice to you or ask them what or why they are harassing you not just going along WITH the trolls. Please, be considerate of other people. I have depression like probably 40% of the worlds population does (maybe more, maybe less idk) but when I get bullied at school, then go online just to have fun then come across a game where I make a stupid mistake and someone says "get cancer" or "kill yourself" that really hurts me. I know I am just sounding like a pussy right now but come on, who has never actually been hurt by someone online.

Dear toxic people, just think to yourself for a moment and ask yourself "why am i being toxic" or "what am I accomplishing here" because one more toxic person in this community is what none of us need.

P.S. - This argument can be countered just by a phrase like "mute all". GGWP you got me there.
