Your leaver buster system is not right... what happens when the trouble of reconnecting a game is RIOT's fault ..but the player is being punished for it??? I was bad at leaving game a long time ago like almost year ago... but anytime I have trouble now it puts me in a 20 minute wait que...thats fine If I'm the one responsible for leaving a game but I haven't in a LONG time if you look at my match history dating back months I complete 95% of my games... but what happens when you servers go whack and now I can reconnect to a game either be you client crashes which has nothing to do with my pc when that game works any other time... I just recently experienced this now im in a 20 minute que I just played 5 games like that thinking ok thats enough and its still going...I wouldnt be mad if it was my fault... I for one think this system sucks and you guys prolly lose about a 20% player base from it all... it's very stupid system... specially when you game DOES have problems that are beyond the scope of the player... but the player gets punished....this is the only game ive EVER seen that punishes its player over issues that can go both ways either its your client/server fault or it does fall on the player...but where is the balance? cause I don't see any balance to this system your game messes up and now I have to pay for it... spending upwards of 1 hour and half to play ONE match... to me that's player abuse... this system is ridiculous and I honestly am not sure how long I will be playing this game due to it's lack of compassion and integrity to it's players.. it's a "GAME" for crying out loud played for excitement... and you punish your players..when at times its your fault I can't connect to a game... it's mind blowing.

I would create a pick up game Que separate from ranked and all the other ques basically for players who want to help games already in progress who are missing a player or two...and if they help the team complete the match they get a small fractional Ip gain....no need for leaver buster then when matches would be fine gaining replacement players... not a perfected idea but thats your job RIOT not mine

i have the same just right now i have 5 times 20min ( almost have the feeling to unninstal the game )

yeah i was ready to play and my game bugged i tried to reconnect but i couldn't and i updated it fast and i tried to play now i have to wait 20min this is really bad ( league of legends will lose alot of players with this bullshit system)

whats even worse is when the matches I did go Afk for was Player vs AI on easy mode... and I be damned if 4 people cant beat 5 easy bots... but Leaver buster don't care... I have never seen a game punish its players so badly for so little...it's crazy...FIX THIS BROKE A$$ SYSTEM.

The thing is Leaver Buster wasn't made with Issues on Riots side in mind. It was made to punish those that did leave games repeatedly. While there does need to be a near instant system that notices that it is on riots end and not the players fault, it takes time and would likely be rather tricky to implement. Normally Riot rewards players that had issues or were punished for things that were caused on Riots end. They return lost LP and rank, etc etc. While it is inconvenient for those dealing with issues on Riots end it is more useful than harmful.

For future reference, if you can't get into the first game, try checking the forums before trying a second game. It'll prevent this from happening to you again. As a general rule its good to check the forums if you think something isn't working properly and you don't think its on your end.

EDIT: Riot now says they can't reverse outcomes of games. Win/loss rank up/down LP loss/gain. Point still stands though, if you can't stay in the first game, don't try a second.

if its riots fault then its gonna affect everyone, also when that happens do they turn off leave buster.

I have to wait 20min for 5 games because riot wouldn't connect me to league. Why? I don't know. I even checked my Internet connect by opening other apps like Chrome and they work. But Riot just said I was having problems with connection. And when you call them and ask how they can fix it. They just say, "Sorry Sir, that's just how the system works".
