Riot plz. Why cant we have a chat ban?

So I just finally received what was probably my inevitable permanent ban. I do not feel a permanent ban is the proper way to deal with me, or people like me. as a profile for me: I do not flame a teammate simply for doing poorly. I do not flame teammates for unorthodox picks. I do not EVER attempt to intentional lose the game, or AFK (Although I do threaten to do both of these things)

I intentionally fed in a single game. One time, many months ago. It left a bitter taste in my mouth and has not happened since.

What I have problems with is two things. I have a hard time not responding to people flaming/ganging up on me (Which happens on a regular basis thanks to dynamic que) I just cannot at all relate to teammates who refuse to help me. (Junglers who wont gank my lane when I need help. Teams that let me be counter jungled relentlessly, and supports who just refuse to support are the big three.)

However. In all of these cases. The only thing I ever do is type. I never feed. I never ragequit. I never throw the game on purpose. I ALWAYS try to win.

given that. Doesn't it make much more sense to ban me from chatting than it does to just ban my account? Or at least give me the option to turn chat off in game by default? I'd much rather not see the chat, or have the ability to say anything.

As it stands, I will likely never get my account back, and its really going to suck. But that just doesn't seem like the right way to solve the problem. If I was banned from chat, I could still play. I could be a solid teammate, and I could still buy RP, and I would have no negative affect on the game whatsoever.

I'll post the chat logs from my ban on the bottom since people will ask for them.

Very similiar things happening in both games. I'm playing jungle vayne, and I'm getting invaded a lot. In game 1 the enemy bot lane keeps running up to gank me with their jungler, and all I can get from my team is "Go afk. Pick a real jungle. Not my job to support jungle. WTF GANK MY LANE. You suck. You are shit." etc.

Game two, I honestly don't think was that bad. I was making a serious effort to bite my tongue since it was one of my first games after my last suspension. Evidently not good enough.

General negativity, hopeless attitude toward the game and your teammates, and threatening reports. Perfectly viable for a punishment. I'm guessing that you already served your 14 day suspension, and should have been fully aware that permanent was next. Punishments work on a 4 tier system, and looks for frequency of negative behavior, not how negative it was (except in extreme circumstances).

I actually think your chat was respectfully critical enough to not disturb a ban. But riot tribunal employees and their automated system are made by or are 3rd class workers sitting in a country like india, china, pakistan, etc etc.

In general league of legends can be translated to league of losers which consists of a large amount of sentimental people who cant handle criticism. I see you were at a silver I level which has slightly more intelligent folks than bronze but still alot of mentally "Slow" people.

I have been in the same shoes as you and received a chat restriction a week or two ago based on two games, calling people bronze. In your case you are trying to have a serious conversation. In that situation I would just love to egg the guy who banned me's house. But seeing that isnt possible your next best bet its to swear your heart out in a support ticket email.

Once youre done getting all that anger out of your system. 1. Quit league of legends because it is a seriously addicting game and at low elo all sorts of idiots. 2. Join league of legends again with a new account work your way up and just use the /muteall feature at the very beginning OR get rid of all chat and mute someone the minute they say something that makes u want to say something back. Then ping the shit out of them in an annoying manner. Take it as you punching them in the face a hundred times.

And enjoy the rest of the game. If it doesnt satisfy you enough, add them after game, tell them how you really feel, and dance around their body and make fun of them for not being able to report you.

Sadly the chatlogs you show at least in my opinion show a sign of toxicity. With that said its definitely not permaban worthy off the bat, but if that was the next line of punishment for you then sadly it is what it is.

Like Nami said they had already did chatlog ban and it doesn't work. People will just use other methods to irritate people in the game usually trolling, and sadly this is why we have the tier of punishment. When people cannot act like civilize people there needs to be order. Looks how long it took to actually get some sort of punishment. I remember when I first started playing and things like this get unnoticed. Now that it's finally getting out people are complaining about it.
