Unbinding my enter key
Can i use a program to disable the enter key? Or is that cheating?

Use a keycap puller tool.
your next is perma ban anyway so you cant really do anything
Changing keybindings (or even remapping keys on your keyboard, if it gives you that option) is perfectly fine. I don't think you can leave chat unbound, but you can make it more inconvenient for you. Try binding it in game to the Home or Scroll Lock button. Anything that's very out of the way.
