Promos need quality players.

There really needs to be a fix with promos. I know I'm not the only one who's had to put in extra work/lose multiple promos in ranked due to afkers and ragers.

Example, I get decent teams until I hit promos then first game, instantly have a mid wukong who gives up first blood at 3 minutes, then tower dives twice in a row before 10 minutes and gets ganked since he never warded and then afks blaming jungle. and quits the game literally at 10 minutes in only.

For some reason it's like promos put you with the most toxic players in the League, I get you're suppose to earn your promotion but it shoulddn't be 3x as hard and have ragers every single time.

I know I'm not the only one.

What you fail to realise, promo is just a regular game for 9 others. Its only important to you. Problem is, since its important match, you remember bad things that happen there. You have to treat it as just a regular match not as a promo, otherwise pressure will be too much for you.

Idk maybe its from so many people complaining, but I know I have this problem a lot as well. I mean... it took me 8 tries over the last 2 seasons to get Silver 1 from silver 2, and 3 tries in one weekend to achieve it. Then I win 6 games in a row to get into G5 only to go 0-3 in promos. The sad part is, before starting my gold promos I already knew I was going to lose them since it seems to take an average of 3 tries before winning your promos. Did my negative thought of probably going to lose promos but lets give it a try effect my attitude? Perhaps. But in the end I played hard just like I had done in my games to get to that point. Luckily 2 of the games were competitive and close we just ended up losing in the late game.

Confirmation bias or not, from someone who has played a lot of ranked in a similar elo I can tell you I sure lose a lot of promotional series, especially going 0-2. And since I have done so many promos I think of most of them as just a regular games.
