The Report System: What Riot Has Been Hiding

Am I the only one that thinks this cough automated cough report/ban system is complete bull shit?

Don't get me wrong - I know there are thousands of toxic players that get reported everyday - but this is getting a little too far.

It started on my smurf 3 days ago. I had just gotten off of a leavebuster ban and went into a ranked game with a few of my friends. We go through the game smoothly, but at the end of the game, to my surprise, I see a notification - 2 week ban for verbal abuse... I didn't really do anything toxic, hell, I didn't even use chat since I was in discord with my team. It was on my smurf so I didn't really care that much, but I was still pretty pissed off considering I did nothing...Anyways, onto the point. I proceeded to start questioning if Riot's "Trustworthy report system" was really that trustworthy. I get reported for literally no reason, and on top of that I get banned literally less than 30 seconds after my game ended.

You're telling me a Riot employee read my so called "toxic verbal abuse," and made the choice to ban me in less than 30 seconds? Really? Out of all the people that get reported, I can't believe that it takes 30 seconds for them to evaluate my false report and ban me......I've always questioned Riot's honesty on this issue, but this really pushed me off the edge,

I proceed to go on my last smurf account and go into a normal games with all of my friends. I make sure to say NOTHING in chat the entire game except for one message, telling my friends and the enemy team to all report me for verbal abuse (idk if the enemy team did, but I know at leas 4 reports were issued per game) I did this for 4 games. Guess what? After that 4th game, I get a 25 game chat restriction. Yep. Even more stupid, there were chatlogs from each of the 4 games I got reported in, and they all had the single message of me, in all chat, telling the players to report me.

Honestly, for whoever got perma banned unfairly because of this bull shit system, I feel for you guys.

First: I have serious doubts on the validity of this whole story

Second: it is technically a reportable offence to call for reports. So by asking every person to do so, it's likely the system picked up on that from the reports that were sent it.

Is the system 100% perfect? No, there are a few extremely rare false positives. However I wouldn't exactly say yours was one of these, as you deliberately tried to get the system to punish you, by using a metric that is detected and punished (even if you yourself didn't know that)

Nothing! It's fairly obvious reporting system was only for Lyte's pet project to enforce SJW thought police,

while other options are just plaacebo

Maybe others have learned what I have, since you will never get banned for cheating, go ahead and click toxic too.

Usually these behaviors go hand in hand....

for instace the botter/scriptier/cheater/multi-account troll from my last game said: "EZZZZZZZ "

after the game. not surprising.
