I'm a terrible person with my anger issues. I was banned on the 23rd this December. And I respect that I'm no longer welcome to play League of Legends if nobody but my friends wants me to come back. I went overboard one game and flamed off someone who was taunting me and killing me in lane. We won that game, and I had a pretty good score, but as I look back I guess what I got was deserved. I am in the fault and I am responsible for breaking the Summoner's Code. And it sucks to have lost $100s of skins that I lost because I couldn't control my anger. But I also sort of feel like it's unfair that someone was egging me on, but that still places me in the wrong doesn't it? Being able to control yourself is a huge part of this game, and it can be applied to every aspect.

Before you go on, or comment, please read everything and consider the following, respectfully. In order to understand what I'm saying and get your criticism or comments across for this discussion, it would be great for us to be on common ground. I know you think I'm terrible, but I'm human. Riot thinks I can't reform, but I believe I can.

So to everyone who is serving a ban who isn't permabanned:

Read the Summoner's Code. I linked it here for y'all. It can be very helpful before game to relieve stress, and remember, it is JUST A GAME. Plus, you can spread some joy, even kindness to people you're playing against. Tell them how to be better, we can create a better community by being better for ourselves and others.

If someone is being mean to anyone report them.

I honestly don't prefer the reporting system. I think that players should be forced to view the Summoner's Code every game and type out mini points from the Summoner's Code before their games and hit an "I agree" button if they were toxic previously, to serve a punishment. After neglecting the points they agreed to, then a ban would be necessary.

I don't recall being banned before, so if Riot could let me know when I was banned and for what reason, I'd really appreciate it. I didn't expect something of this magnitude.

I want to see the community prosper. At least make it so that if I get reported again, and reviewed, I'm immediately banned. I just feel like the instant ban after the game wasn't reviewed. Heck, even the person I was playing against had a name (relating to Hitler), and even said stuff Hitler would say. The laner who most likely reported me was taunting me and calling me a bad 2nd grader who shouldn't play.

Take care everyone. May Rito have mercy on your souls, and may you abide by the rules of The Summoner's Code.

I miss playing with people. Riot's punishment system works, because of how it makes you feel afterwards, but just as a recommendation to Riot, I honestly feel like it doesn't work. There was nothing that ever made me feel like I had to improve until being permanently banned when I lost the money that my brother gave me that he worked so hard to give me as a gift, and I'm pretty certain that I'm going to get RP from him again this Christmas, because I told him about the ban and he got pretty mad...

Trolling has shifted from being toxic to passively baiting players into raging and reporting them. I'm sorry you fell into a trap. If you decide to level a new account I recommend turning off all chat and muting and reporting anyone who is a jerk. If you fight back or even ask others to report you will get punished. I do not like the system but I am not in charge and can not change it.

Lol, contradict yourself much?
