I got flamed by my premade top, and the midlane who were flaming me for being trash when i was 2/0/2 and behind in xp cause of lag, they kept flaming me saying I can't play the game, while also being 0/5 both of them. This is extremely tilting, and the fact that I tried to keep my tilt in check all I said were things that have never been a big deal before. Like I wouldn't have said anything if they weren't calling me bad, but I'm supposed to say nothing? I got tag teamed and still I GOT punished, not them. the other game was the exact same, If I get called bad I'm not gonna type in chat a smiley face and say "oh your right." Like IG i need a new rundown on the rules because thats ridiculous, I'M Toxic when I didn't even start anything, I just defended myself. I'm not gonna let people just tilt me for an entire game and spam ping me, for the ENTIRE game. And yes, mutes a thing but that's so annoying to say when OBVIOUSLY they didn't Mute me? I'd have no issue if they got punished, but where is it that I went wrong that they didn't. And it's not like I flame a teammate for doing bad I really don't mind a player that does bad, but if a player doing bad tells me im bad I'm not gonna be happy.

I @ Riot cause I want them to look in the entire game chatlog and TELL ME PERSONALLY, where I went wrong and how they didn't since we were doing the exact same thing. I'm going to be playing for 9 months to get honor level two so you might as well take 9 minutes to tell me exactly where they were in the right, and i was in the wrong.

When Riot gives you a punishment via the IFS, they don't give one whit about what other people did. They only punish you for what you did, which in this case was to argue, call for reports, harass teammates about their scores, etc. As you say, you can indeed avoid ping spam, bothersome chat, and even irritating use of emotes by muting those parts of chat.

And could they have not muted me? And harrasing them about their scores? you make it sound like they just were having a bad game and I took it out on them. Which I don't care if that happens. I'm asking what I did wrong, that they didn't. I'm not asking for them to remove the punishment. They never will, I'll just grind for 6 months to get loot back w/e.

They could have muted you, but they didn't. And you could have muted them, but you didn't. Instead, you engaged in behavior that Riot doesn't allow. That is what you did wrong. "BUT HE STARTED IT" does not justify poor behavior.

It's not even about that, I still don't even know what I did to get CR. Is saying stfu a trigger. is saying garbage a trigger. is saying a score out loud a trigger.

You spent the entire time arguing with teammates about how they weren't doing well, insisting that they were breaking rules, inciting the rest of your team against them, and insulting them. That's not what the chat is for. If you don't have anything nice, useful, or even neutral to say, don't say it.

I've never played a league of legends game in my life where there WASN'T an accusation of int, or troll.

I'll kindly say "Please cease with your useless communications henceforth" next time instead of stfu

The context does not matter. Things that are not appropriate are inappropriate no matter what is going on. You agreed to the rules. Follow them.

Important context in what way? Not in terms of justifying your behavior, as you admit.

I'm not surprised that you've "never played a league of legends game in your life where there WASN'T an accusation of int, or troll," because you take care of that yourself. I almost never see that in my matches.

You won't get any less irritating chat (or fewer punishments) if you replace "stfu" with "Please cease with your useless communications henceforth," because it says the same thing. It'll just take you longer to type while you're supposed to be playing League of Legends.

It doesn't matter whether the person you insult is a premade or not. Why do you think it matters?

You misbehaved and were punished. Misbehave again and you might be punished again, up to and including a permaban if you don't learn your lesson. I suggest improving your behavior if you'd like to retain access to this account.

It's not "What they did wrong that you didn't" it's "what you did wrong" PERIOD. You are not judged based on the average toxicity of the players in your game. Your chat logs are examined in a vacuum. I hope this helps you understand you simply can't say something insulting to anyone and not expect punishment.

The golden rule to never get punished again is "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything", follow this one simple rule and you will never even be warned again.

P.S. You are taking 20 lvl games too seriously. Chill

I dont know what other option you think you should have. Either way, thats the reality of the situation... you kinda have to accept it. Talking shit back isnt gonna change anything. It doesn't erase that youre getting flamed. Not accepting it, would be leaving the game. You have all the power to do that. But im glad you've learned that you kinda just have to accept reality. I wish more people would learn this instead of thinking theyre entitled to not being shit on. Life's a bitch. Accept it.

That's the problem, Self improve. I'm not a person to not stand up for myself, I'm not gonna let two people who are not doing anything flame me, and I've been working on myself a lot. I would normally FLAME them, but this time I really didn't I just told them to stfu" as in to leave me alone and stop talking. and said garbage a few times because I had to stick up for myself. I've been taught my whole life to stick up for myself and than when I play league it's like no, you take it, and you can't say anything back. Because the people who do bad and flame never get in trouble, it's always the person who defends themselves and I just don't get it. at school if I get pushed and I push him back, we both get sent home for a few days. but on league they remove MY communications, and than remove MY "rewards" for 3-6 months. A bad 30 minutes because of some people out to ruin your day will ruin something for 3-6 months for you.

There is always a time and place to stand up for yourself and in the middle of a game where every moment matters that is not the place. You mute them and continue the game as you are only fueling the situation and ruining the game for the rest of the people in the game.

Your right, I should be able to contain my anger to attempt and win the game, but that game was over. Not the point but your right, It's still extremely annoying that I tried to not lose it. but still got punished, and it doesn't help that It happens immediately after I bought RP. one of those games was even the previous days, so it wasn't like a game to game experience

I understand my man it can be extremely frustrating in those situations but just remember you are the better person when you don’t engage with those kinds of people and just play the game , they will receive punishments with continued toxicity.

Mate, really, the most irritating thing you can do to them is NOT RESPOND. DON'T TAKE THE BAIT. These people know they can get you punished if you step out of line. They always type misspelled shit in order to make you type it correctly and trigger IFS too. Your best chance of beating them is to not reply with anything except "Ok :)" the ":)" part is especially important.

Finally a last piece of advice, don't try to reason with them, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Just try to remember it's a game and all those people want from you is to make you reciprocate to get you banned. Just keep in your mind that what you consider "standing up for yourself" they consider "he just did what I wanted him to do, now I can be the victim and report him later". Also, "standing up for yourself" when you or anyone is not threatened feels needless don't you think? Like turning around your car to chase someone that honked at you.

I haven't been to these threads in about a year. But it seems nothing changes. Look, my man, your punishment is for your own actions, what they did doesn't matter. That's just how it works. This mostly stems from Riot having the thought process that as a person, you as an individual should be able to control yourself and keep yourself from being a negative influence to the game. Regardless of what you think, you were wrong and you seem to know what you did was wrong. Take that as an experience to next time simply mute and report after the game.
