Problem with Coop VS AI games for New Players
Hello All,
I want to start by saying that I created a smurf account to help a friend learn the game and then she wouldn't have my elo and stats affecting who we're teamed with as I try and show her how to squash Teemos, use her skills, and generally learn the basics of the game. But as I play through these coop vs ai games with her it seems practically useless and the custom games we make she learns much more. This is because there are a large number of people who play the intro and beginner levels of coop vs AI to see the number of kills they can get, and then all the bots start trying to attack them which really makes them useless for the newer players. I fully expect nothing to be done about this but if Riot cares at all about the new players coming into this game they will evaluate the way these beginner and intro coop vs AI games are working and do something to prevent these smurf accounts from coming in and ruining the experience for people just starting the game.
A potential solution to this would be a player who scores more than fifteen kills the game blocks you from playing the intro and beginner levels for a set time and either force them to do a PvP or an intermediate coop vs AI. Or instead start matching all those people together so that it doesn't ruin the experience for new players who are trying to learn. Its just frustrating when a new person is trying to learn and all of a sudden the bots start focusing on the 'killing machines' so the only thing you really learn during those games is how to kill a turret, as was our experience in every coop vs AI game we've played. So you really get more experience with the game through making your own custom games, you just gain "experience points" through these useless exercises (coop vs AI games). All this does is make my friend have absolutely no further interest in playing the game because its not fun.
I really hope someone from Riot reads this and tries to come up with some solution to people like this ruining games for the newer players.
