any way i can get an eta on being able to earn rewards again.. its only been like 6 months and all i ever had was chat bans.

You have to stay in good standing for a while. Perhaps you've been reported a few times since then, but not enough to trigger another actual punishment; just enough for the system to think you haven't properly reformed yet.
