Please increase penalty for leaving champ select

Relaxed Gaming72··2 votes·594 views

I'm so tired of going through 4 champion selections before actually finding 10 people that are REALLY willing to play. Why are people allowed to not respond to a ban or lock in a champ selection only to come back and play in 5 minutes? I understand the queues would be long but aren't they already? And with some of the worst QQers because you allow them back so soon.

Leaving during champ select is mostly because people don't want to deal with trolls, and or know they're going to lose the game or just a horrible team comp.

There shouldn't be a penalty for leaving champ select.

Disagree, often people leave cause they don't get the champ they want to play. I think ranked should have a higher dodge penalty(15 min say)

No it shouldn't. It's already over the top. This only benefits people in business leveling accounts and boosting who are 'on the clock' everyone else would rather wait 10 minutes for a real game, than just get the first troll group they are matched with.

... Are you like following my replies to try and make yourself sound like a twat? lol If you dodge a game after the first then yes it should be increased purely because often people will dodge for reasons that are related to champion selection. if you are experiencing a troll every game you may want to examine what you are saying to aggravate them

in your own words. QUIT WHINING AND CRYING.

I rarely look at who I am replying to, so no, you're just paranoid and as usual toxic and vulgar as well.

The penalties benefit only those who 'on the clock' ...ALMOST EVERY OTHER player has said that they don't mind waiting longer for ranked games.

I don't see how anything I'v said is toxic or even close to vulgar? I suppose w eall choose what to take offense to though. Where are you getting the idea that every other player says that and how does that even come into play? It would benefit those people i suppose, however i would rather know that people who continuously dodge are being punished for it, and since a ban seems exceedingly harsh for something so small a time out of 5 then raising to something like twenty minutes seems appropriate, and i would even say raise it more in ranked.

Nobody wants this.

If anything penalties for getting out of a bad situation are too high.

You have no logical consistency. On one hand you want LESS FREEDOM to dodge the CONSTANT AND PERVASIVE troll accounts in champ select.

ON THE OTHER HAND you want it easier to surrender bad games.

Seems like a formula for more trolled games and less freedom to identify and dodge those games beforehand. I'd rather prevent troll games from occurring in the first place by making it EASIER to dodge.

Yes, less freedom to dodge would be nice since it's been happening so much more this season it seems, especially in ranked. Once again if you are thinking that everyone is a troll, then you may want to examine how you interact them to bring on behavior like that. I've never said anything about making games easy to surrender, i just stated that having one person get off the hook for a lost game by saying 'no' to a vote would be assanine. Four votes to one is an 80% majority, while its going to get the odd person who wants to keep trying it will ruin the match and seemingly waste time for those other 4 people at the least. If you are getting this many 'trolls' you may want to look up what trolls are, its quite possible you are just having lost matches, or you are being mistreated (possibly unfairly although i doubt that) due to your name.

No.

It's still broken and still actively exploited, but I don't mind waiting for a real team.
