Permanent Suspension - is there ANYTHING I can do.

Hello. First off I want to say I'm not here to say I wasn't guilty or didn't deserve a punishment but I want to see if there is anything I can do to lesson the punishment I got. I was on league last night and I was drinking because I am going through some things in my personal life. I vented in league and I got punished for it. I messed up really bad and I want to see if there is anything I can do to get a lesser punishment (anything but perma.)

The following is not to gain sympathy but to explain how badly I want my account back and the extents to which I would go to get it back. I have 175ish ranked games and at least 1k normal games. I have atleast $700+ into this game.

So literally anything I can do to get it back please give me another chance. I would be so grateful for a perma chat ban, 1 year suspension, etc.

Unless it was a perm banned issued by mistake then unfortunately no. If you already had a history of punishment then the chances would be even slimmer.

If you want to play still, you will need to make a new account.

I've been there too, playing drunk from a bad place in life leads to a lot of bad. Unfortunately Riot usually does not accept drunkness as an excuse for poor behavior.

Can you provide the chat logs to show what it was that you were banned for?

Have you received punishments in the past?

These will factor into how likely you are to receive any leniency.

Generally speaking though, permaban is usually only done after a series of other punishments or for severe behavior. Unless you were trolled and baited into speaking out there isn't much likelihood that Riot would reverse or reduce the punishment.

I had a 2 week suspension a while back but things were great in between. I know that flaming is not a way to climb and I was climbing like mad (Gold 4.) I was so positive until now and in the games since the 2 week I was constantly complimenting my teams and always keeping it positive :/ I can provide the chat logs but it would not help me in any way. It was mostly just throwing around the N-word (I watch a lot of Idubbbz.)

I really blew up because a pantheon was provoking the hell out of me. He threw the game and inted into my entire team trying to kill me over and over. Literally went from a decent score to 10+ deaths in less than 10 mins.

Using the N-word tends to be taken pretty seriously, even if you don't mean it in a serious manner. That may hurt your chances, but it's still worth submitting a support ticket. You never know until you try right?

I'm super confused, you were tilted because an enemy died repeatedly while trying to kill you despite your whole team being there to kill him in return? That is what I imagine when you say he "threw the game and inted into your team"

Having a positive track record will help your case if you actually do have it. Riot support will be able to verify that and maybe go over your punishment with you.

Based on everything I've seen here so far I would recommend approaching Riot Support with the same politeness and earnestness that you used here. Remaining respectful and open is the best way to receive a respectful and open response from your target audience.

Doesn't work, they just spam guilty without really reading or looking into anything.

Riot is a very respectable company from what I understand. I have read some other posts about people who were banned for toxicity and they said that Riot did review there games at least even though they were still perma banned.

Depending on the content of your case and how you ask of course that is a possible outcome.

In your personal experience that may be the case, but I've found that Riot responds quite helpfully when approached in an earnest and respectful manner.

Sorry to confuse. The Pantheon would basically just go on me, even if I was surrounded with team. Straight up inting in an attempt to kill me. Also in chat he was taunting me and provoking me :/ I opened a ticket. Thank you again sir

Ah I see, that makes more sense. Sounds like he was being toxic as well. It may be possible that your case could be reviewed and changed. There is precedent, I can't remember exactly where I saw this but there was a case where a user was banned for repeating the N-word (trying to say that that was what the person harassing them said) and Riot Tantram lifted the ban and gave them a warning. Much like a slap on the wrist.

I wouldn't get my hopes up too high if I were you just because Riot is fairly strict usually even when players are antagonized, but there is still a possibility.

the odd's of riot seeing this and replying are slim to non. best bet is to send a request into riot games , but sense you've made it public the odd's are now lower :/ if they undo your perma bann then everyone will look for second doings. i'm sure its possible behind closed doors during private doings , but id keep it between you & them.

Wow your right im sure. Damn didn't even think of that. Do you think it would help if I took this post down and then contacted them? Also will they look at how I am doing on my second account? I have an alt account that I play on almost more than my main which I will be very clean on. I just turned off all chat on that account to avoid going through this again. Thanks for the help

It might help to take it down. But it also probably helps your case that you're not trying to smear Riot's reputation with the post. You've been open and sincere at least in tone and attitude.

Based on that, I'm not sure that this post (at least how it has gone so far) will actually hurt your chances. It might if you continue to publicize what happens and how... so I'd recommend against telling us how it resolves, since Riot can't go around handing some people leniency and then have to deal with complaints from others who didn't get that leniency.

See how drinking doesn't solve problems, but only creates more? I recommend weed if you're looking for a drug to help you get through your problems. It helps you to be content with your situation, while still maintaining that filter so you dont get yourself in some shit.

just buy a new level 30 account for 8-10 bucks. It sure beats the hell that is leveling from 1-30.

I would do that but I don't want to cheat the punishment that I deserve and that Riot has decided for me. I have another account leveled to 20 something that I will be using.

This is the best approach, and I applaud for you it. Riot does not overturn bans that were properly applied under any circumstances, but truly taking the lesson to heart on a new account is fantastic. Best of luck out there, Tuna Reformed. <3

That's a good name bro. Look at it like this. League is just a game unless you are in the LCS and getting paid cause if you aren't, rank doesn't matter. Win or losses doesn't matter.

Try to tell your team "good luck, have fun" every match. If they feed (which is what would trigger me) tell them to just play safe. Chill out to some happy music, or uplifting music. Maybe Bob Mcferrin - Don't worry, be happy while playing.

There's a lot of others who spent good money on League and have been banned. It sucks that people don't just use the "mute' button. Kinda makes the whole idea of using it pointless cause they will sit there and trigger you more so they can get more out of you and report you.
