Idea to add for player moderation

As someone who comes across a lot of people who go crazy toxic after a teammate messes up once or just purposely try to tilt their own team, I was wondering if something could be added on top of reporting someone.

I'm thinking something very simple. What if when reporting someone, you were also given the option of not playing with them again? So if you were somehow going to be stuck in the same game with them, one of you (choice would be random) is moved to the next queue. I wouldn't mind waiting an extra couple minutes to avoid a few of the known trolls I've come across for the sake of have a good, full 5v5 game.

Ideally, eventually all the SUPER toxic people would be isolated and just playing with each other! That's the dream, of course. Anyway, just something I thought would be neat. Would also have the option of unbanning people on your list of course, since I know very high elos probably wouldn't want an even longer wait time.

TL;DR: Give us the option of never having that toxic person on our team again instead of, or in addition to, reporting.

Prisoner's island is a shitty idea, and not to mention does not help people reform. Plus there are challenger and diamond queues.

What you're suggesting is called Prisoner's Island, where only the toxic players roam and play both with and against each other. This doesn't work as it doesn't encourage reform, but rather it only encourages them to be even bigger jerks than they were before. Since the goal is to reform players rather than just ban them outright, any Prisoner's Island-related ideas can never work. I understand your intentions but this is why it won't work.

hmm, this might work with the bigger divisions(think bronze to plat), but when reaching high end diamond and challenger this will end with a shortage of players.

Furthermore, people unaware or casual enough, that simply mute or not report players will slowly go into a more negative player experience because they are more and more likely to get premade with those "negative" players. This could theoretically lead to those players getting a more negative experience for literally doing nothing wrong.

Offmeta pickers will also be screwed over by people who simply don't want to play with a bard top(no matter how good he is). This would cause off meta picks to be placed in the same queue as a rager. This would lead to a system in which those players are being bullied into a negative atmosphere

Having said all that, a system like this works in a lot of other games like shooters with a less divided meta-system(f.e only soldiers, not top/mid/bot meta) and a less toxic player base. In games like this only screamers(mike dudes that scream like they lost their mind) would probably be banned and the system would work.

TL:DR I think that this system won't work for league because it would drag innocent players down with the toxics.
