We need to draw the line somewhere on what counts as 'intentional feeding/griefing'

This guy basically intentionally AFK's at gromp with 2 turrets and a pink ward on Heimerdinger to prevent being given the AFK warning. He has successfully demoted his MMR from Diamond to Bronze 3 as shown in the video. He did this purposely to inflate his Teemo winrate to 94%+ just to bully players who are still trying to improve.

I've seen people run into towers the moment they respawn and these people don't even get banned. It just feels like the 'Intentional Feed' report button is a placebo to make players feel better about the loss. People may argue 'but players have bad days and it's hard to determine if it's intentional'. Personally we need to draw the line sooner. Otherwise people like this are going to continue purposely demoting into low elo just to bully legitimate low elo players when they really should be playing in their appropriate elos.

Absolutely obnoxious.

I've seen a more insidious version of trying to drop their mmr/rank. They will last hit every champion they can, take all the farm in games, and basically do everything they can to starve their teammates of gold. Then after they've gone 12-1 or whatever and its 30 minutes into the game they will int feed a kill or two by walking into the enemy base and doing effectively nothing 1v5 so their team is left 4v5 and unable to do anything. They will end with a good kda and good farm but will have done virtually no damage to structures or enemy champions and they get the loss to lower their mmr/rank so they can continue to stomp lower level players.

People pay to be boosted it would stand to reason that the latter would happen as well. Tobe honest I have no idea which is more annoying to me... A smurf who tanked his mmr or the boosted guy well above where he should be.

I agree. Riot should be more strict about what sorts of behaviors are allowable. If a player is doing something that will ruin the play experience of a reasonable person, and doing it repeatedly, then there should be some sort of reprimand. I also agree that "intent" doesn't really matter nearly as much as people seem to emphasize, especially since carelessness in the extreme becomes indistinguishable from malintent. I've made a post about this, and based on what you've written, I think you might agree with it. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts over on that page. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/6qUT19A0-intentional-vs-careless-feeding

I really wish tribunal would come back...It would also maybe help counter players who report their teammates for nothing but feeding when they see your description. Had an ekko a few games back on the enemy team who went like...0/17/2? I get the feeling the poor guy was just REALLY REALLY PISSED AT ME cause he wasn't trying to intent feed at all...I taunted him a bit in chat cause I'm an asshole like that, but he build arm guard into lux and was already 0/6 by the time i started the taunting... I asked him "ekko do you think maybe your build is the problem here?" Which he responded "Maybe, but should I really take advice from the 2/4 teemo?". "I Would if I was 0/6..." And thus began the kamikaze rush teemo if he's under 50% hp... I'd have reported him if the rest of his team said he was going to and put in the description he was just REALLY tunnel visioning me.

I've had games where a duo linked their Road to Bronze 5 Twitch stream. Sure, they fed like mad and were just trying to lose while attempting to look incompetant rather than inting, but they were having fun and 1 loss isn't gonna effect much. We did lose, I tried to enjoy myself, succeeded. Figured it's 50/50 anyways and moved on.

Why must you rage and whine like this? Cheer up, take it like a man and move on like a Chap.

i have just had an entire days worth of games wasted, if players werent AFK they were intentionally feeding, and yes people have bad days, but when you tell someone on a squishy champion to please stay behind the tank and their answer is "go - yourself" its pretty apparent that they are making no attempt to remedy the situation. i have had the same person on my team in 4 games today spread out over a 6 hour time frame, each game ending around 20 minutes and they have gotten up each time because they "had to pee". I have reported them each time for afk but they only leave for just enough at a time to not draw the leaver buster, and the enemy team wont report them because "he's right there" (not to mention the 13 kills hes fed them). and yet i have gone from (and i dont care about being in the ranking) bronze 1 promos to the bottom end of bronze 3 today, after a string of games where i start strong and we lose because someone is afk or feeding. It's at the point where i may just remove the game if you cant find a more convincing way to prevent the problem, or punish those who are doing it. an entire day worth of people trolling is enough to make me wonder why i even give you my money.

To be honest I believe that the reason that people can simply troll in the way that Sixdogman described is because League has become far to removed from human review. Back when tribunal was alive and well these trollers would easily be caught because they're obviously inting and feeding. However, now hat it's algorithms that are detecting these players as long as you have good stats you can evade the system. I hope Riot finds away to fix this problem.

Best of luck in your games Dancing Eel. [slayer-jinx-wink] -Yordles Baby

PS: I am a big flatland fan myself, glad to find that a lot more people have read it.

I posted this a long time ago no one said anything. and yet again like I always say, funny thing I say "Gg game is over, fucking ff teammates" etc and I get in trouble? yet this guy doesn't. fuck you riot

i have heard all the report buttons are placebos. since riot has decided there are more false reports than real ones they let their automated system detect people who need punished and leave the report button in to make people feel better.

I agree with you that this is an issue however you're missing one key component in your post - how to fix it. Riot has already talked about the IP thing and how it will not work (college campuses, countries constantly changing IPs, random IP generators, etc...), so what is your solution to the problem you're bringing up?

There will never be anyone banned for feeding intentional or not.

Riot honestly doesn't care. If it is not a problem in the LCS rankings they are not going to bother messing with it. Only way people are banned for toxic comms is by the amount of reports a person receives. The justice system on this game is worse than any other game I have played and I have played a lot of games over the years.

if you want to ban someone for feeding then report them for verbal abuse and hate speech. But you have to get at least 4 people to report for it to take affect.
