Elo = Ego confirmed ?

EDIT: Fragile ego teens are downvoting. Me gusta.

There's no real need for me to emphasize, title says it all. I'm just puzzled ...

1) Report/Ban System It can detect specific words like "cancer" or "n*ger". Can also detect players standing idle for too long while busy spamming the chat. OH HOW GREAT. Now why doesn't it seem to be able to read "fuck you" "you suck" "fucking animal" "piece of shit" or anything in this genre ?

And how does this automatic shit helps with all the people very aware of how it works, who just bypass it ?

** 2) Mistake = Hate ** Can any brillant person explain me why so many LoL players: - lack personality (same reactions in same situations, same words, same nicks etc) - have only League as a basis for arguing

  • can't control theirselves and have a vital need to start acting mean, right when any mistake - even the closest/tiniest one - is made in the first place
  • wish cancer to someone.** You don't wish cancer to someone**.

TL;DR

Why do I feel so alone towards refusing to follow all of the mindless sheeps disguised as thugs, that make this game's community look more and more harmful and tasteless as seasons go by ? And why, most of all, does Riot keep acting so minimalist and NOT OPTIMISTIC when working on the punishment system ?

Riot cares, but the current legacy client isn't up to snuff to display that they care.

Wait till the new client is up and running smoothly and we'll get new behavioral features.

  1. I personally think this detection of 'obscene' words is stupid as language evolves, especially quickly on the internet. I also think banning people for saying 'kys' or 'fuck you' or simply 'you suck' is stupid. You have a mute button. Heck, you have a default obscenity filter. This idea that Riot has to step in to keep your feelings from getting hurt is infantile.

  2. I didn't know that being hit by a hammer to illicit an 'ow' meant the person has no personality. I also didn't know that if you call something a 'cat', you have no personality. I also didn't know that argumentation on league means they have no means of arguing in real life. As to why people act mean, they've been reinforced to act mean by their environment online, don't get reinforced for acting well, and honestly don't value the return for acting decently online more than the emotional investment required in the current given situation.

I find that the community becomes worse simply because individuals in the community do not take responsibility for their emotions, for dealing with day-to-day situations, and expect Riot to not only fix everything but preempt everything as well.

Also, I wish cancer on people sometimes (in my head) because it allowed my mother to go through spiritual growth and made her into an infinitely better person. Don't assume they always want you dead. Either way, KYS and other things are just words.

Now, wishing feminism on people, I can't imagine what sick fuck would wish something so horrible onto another human being.
