Helping a dc'd teamate out and my team turns on me? what is this community?

the players you find honestly make me want to quit league sometimes. a yi, queued with our adc dc'd under tower at 4 and didn't reconnect. I was trying to defend him to my team because it was clearly unintentional. I try to roam and help and my lane does the same. the team then flames me like crazy because I'm defending yi and didn't ping one time (his queued friend was even flaming me.)

What the hell? I'm friendly to them all and I get shit thrown at me?

Of course I muted them all. that aint hard, I didn't communicate with them the reset of the match but I have a feeling the 3 there on my team reported me and continued to harass in the lobby after game. Though I didn't reply (tilt control.) Doubt ill get banned but what the hell is up with people like this on league?

U defend a fellow summoner and get bashed for trying to be nice? where is the fun in a game like that.....
