An updated honor system

So let's be honest, when was the last time any of us really cared about the honor system? Anyone, anyone one at all? The reason why none of us ever cared was simple, there was no reward or incentive for us to get the rewards. So, I have an idea to improve the honor system.

Give us % bonus IP for every 50 honors of a certain type we get. Simply put, this will encourage people to work with each other more, be nicer, and overall improve the state of the game. At current, the the honor initiative only gives us a cool crest, and nothing more. Doesn't give you any incentive to stay positive and stuff, one of the most toxic players I ever had to deal with had an honor crest. Give people with honor crests an especially high % IP boost, and trust me, you will see the player base shape up majorly.

Probably after the new client is up and running smoothly.

Riot has considered IP rewards for honor. They scrapped it because they were worried about people trading honor for free IP.

Honor does need some work, though. It's too hard to get a crest nowadays.

The system is too nebulously complicated. When trying to incentivize people, you need very simply stimuli.

First: tell players that a player has muted them in game. Second: Tie bonus IP gain to how often they have been punished Third: Close the player's shop if they have been banned and for the duration of it; they also cannot purchase RP. Fourth: annual RP sale for players who have not been banned for the entire year with added extras for people who haven't been banned longer and some consolation for people who have been naughty but reformed Fifth: An annual Purge - the one day of the year where you can be as mean you possibly can in chat without being banned.

Personally, I think people need to take responsibility for their own emotions and not care whether someone actually respects them or not on the internet.

Honor system is irrelevant and should be scrapped, and so should draft normal queue.

Mastery 7 should be scrapped as well.

No rewards for anyone except the elo they earn. Make a wood division if you go below bronze 5 mmr.
