Ban Appeal: njry

I quit playing my account over a year ago, "njry" and in that time it appears it was hacked or/and hacked and sold to some dude who decided to bad mouth people and get it perma banned. How can I appeal this ban and get my account back? I spent many hundreds of dollars on this game SINCE BETA and it is ludicrous that some hacker can single-handedly ruin it.

Also, I tried submitting a ticket a while back via the online help center on LoL's website but I couldn't find an appropriate category, so I submitted under the account reactivation title and explained the situation in the text. I got sent a generic password reset link that I followed, reset my password but my account is still perma banned. Please help!

You can use the category I have a question > Game & Features > General Questions.

You don't appeal bans on the boards, the community can't do much but sympathize and give you information, and the boards moderators are not Rioters or part of player support. You'd want to submit a ticket; if you chose the Feedback category, that is the wrong one because it directs you to the boards. If you select General Questions it'll allow you to post the ticket.

No, I'm not a Rioter. I'm merely a community volunteer. I've been helping around here for a while so have experience and Riot resources within the volunteer program behind me.

I never sold my account, it was hacked and then sold. I have beta skins so I'm sure he got some easy money off of it.

I really don't care if you believe me or not. I quit playing and all of a sudden my friends are telling me there is someone playing on my account, asking me if I came back. It's the truth, I don't care if Bettnachleger from europe believes me.
