I just got banned and i don't know why i haven't received a email or anything

(Please read whole thing) Well i was playing a ranked game and we won and i didn't flame anyone that game I don't actually flame that much unless it's someone trolling but i tried playing another ranked game and it wouldn't let me so i restarted my league and it said i received a permanent ban and to go check my email for details i don't understand because 1. i have never received a ban before this or even a chat ban and 2. i never received a email explaining my ban ik what your all going to say maybe i got banned cause of my name and i can explain that before i actually loved league i thought this game was a joke so i made my name this and they i actually started to like league and i played it a lot i've been playing for at least 4 years and never had a problem with my name and if riot didn't like my name they should of banned me for two weeks and told me to change my name i would of went and went to the store and bought some rp and changed my name i have no problem with changing my name if you wanna read more or leave a comment on my support ticket click on the link above but if anyone can help it's be every helpful but yeah that's it i hope i get unbanned i was on the climb in ranked and i finally just got good at adc and i was really proud of myself when i seen i was banned i was actually really sad but i love league i always think about it and think of ways to get better this is really my favorite game

Yeah ik i'm thinking it's that but why would they ban me now when i've had this name for 4 or 5 years and not just ask me to change it

Well probably noone repoted u for offensive name before. But no, you wouldnt get banned for that. Just name change. Did you purchase RP recently ? Although, you are play way too good for someone whos been low bronze for 3 years. Hell almost 10 CS per minute in 1 game. That could look like account being boosted for end season rewards.

I did contact support and i just wanted to post it on here and yeah i never thought of the boosting thing i honestly am not boosting i just play normals a lot and i just bought xayah and i got really good at her and then i got good at tris i've been playing a lot of ranked to rank up to at least silver and yeah ig your right about how i deserve sometype of punishment but i got a lifetime ban like come on isn't that too much now if i got 14 days i wouldn't be complaining i'd suck it up and wait it out i've put so much time into this account and money to get skins or champs and i finally got the confidence to get a higher ranked i'm shooting for low gold next season and me just getting banned upsets me and yes i did purchase RP recently i spent almost $200 and the reason why I been in bronze for 3 years is cause i just liked playing normals with my friends and then i got the hang of adc and played a lot of normals and just started hopping into ranked and ik my match history looks weird cause i went from top to jg to mid to adc and the numbers just shot up but i've been putting in a lot of practice and i wanna get out of bronze so i'm not looking like i'm getting boosted but i mean i haven't switched my summers it's been f flash and d other since day one but thanks for commenting guys

Ya, they people might not had reported you, especially since there wasnt really an option for summoner names being offensive. With that said though even if they did report you, the person doing the checking might have thought you were using the actual slur instead of how you have it as a lower case L, instead of an i.

But also they might think because you had it for so long without trying to change it you deserve some type of punishment. Either way its best to contact support since we as regular forum users cannot help you!
