Pointless punishment system

Riot can we just get real for like 5 seconds? Are you guys really so delusional that you seriously believe restricting/banning accounts actually accomplishes ANYTHING?

Literally anybody who gets banned can just come right back with a new account and whatever they got banned for becomes pointless because that cycle will continue. And if they stop there will always be another troll/hacker/shit-talker/racist/etc to take their place.

League is the only game that actually cares about banning. You try to go to call of duty or halo or diablo....literally pick any other game, and try to report someone for language. You just get laughed at. Because they KNOW that people would just shrug their shoulders say "oh well" make a new account and go right on with their routine. Maybe thats why every other game ONLY cares about banning scripters/hackers. But even then, same end result, new account incoming for the same bullshit.

This is serious you guys need to consider that no one gives a shit about your punishment system because theres no true way to banish a player. You will never be able to successfully ban someone. Theyll just laugh at you and make another account. Ban the new account? Bam! Another one to take its place.

So I say again. Can we get real here and stop pretending the tribunal actually accomplishes anything? It doesnt. And it never will. As long as league of legends exists so will the negative portion of the community as it does in any PvP game EVER. Not one company has ever been successful in it so why do you persist in this illusion of a better community?

Your game would become so much better if the tribunal only punished for afks and hacking.

Thats why we have mute options. Guys annoying you? MUTE. Racial slurs? MUTE. Insert any general hate speech? MUTE. Why even have a mute button if you have a report system for it. Since when did anybody give a rats ass about internet strangers words? They're just words, and if youre hurt by words you definitely shouldnt be playing games where you kill people. Doubt ill ever hear a response from riot. I know how great they are at responding to their community. But someone needed to say this. Quit lying to yourselves and scrap the tribunal already.

Well... if it is really no problem to anybody to make a new account, why do they all come here to complain once their account got banned?

If you bought skins for several hundred dollars on that account, it hurst quite badly to get a permaban. But realisticly: what do you suggest? You can't prevent people from making new accounts.

Try playing guildwars 2, flame, and see how long your account lasts. And those accounts are not free, like Leagues.

And call of duty is literally one of the few games with a crappier community than League. You sure you want to name that one as an example of how things should be done?

Well duh; you actually get told your welcome to try again after getting perma banned. Do you know how much money they make off people making new accounts skin wise? It's bad business practice to restrict toxic players from the game when there most likely going to repurchase skins they already had previously.

I've spent a lot of money on this account and have yet to receive so much as a warning let a lone a ban due to the fact I don't cross the line into being a complete jerk. While everyone will have their off moments those that can't control themselves will keep getting punished. If you can't control yourself then go find a different game.

i've come close to getting banned a few times. i had a few weeks once. i can't imagine how bad you have to be to get perma cuz i've been pretty mean in the past. i'm not racist though so maybe that's it.

When a player buys something using real money, they should really think about reviewing the TOS so they know what not to do
