Relic shield on thresh doesnt work for executing minions at the stated health amount. every other champ i use it on i can execute them at slightly below half health. On thresh however the execute doesnt ever happen unless the minions are literally one hit from death. ive noticed this over the past 20+ games using different supports and its definitely a bug of some type, please fix.

Thresh uses Ranged basic attacks, and only Melee basic attacks will proc the execute damage.

If thats the case then why does titanic or ravenous hydra work on him
Yep, can confirm. Other are right, the hydra thing was a bug, and he's supposed to be ranged. That means relic won't execute. You still see lots of pros buying it, because they can last hit and get the same effect for the kill, but you'll notice that they have to last hit well. It doesn't execute on Thresh.
If only people can read. Relic Shield. Procs. On. MELEE ATTACKS. Get up close to a minion if you are going use relic shield.
