Also just so you know Tyler1 was ID banned for like a year or 2 for his 20+ perma account nonsense, where every single one of his new accounts would be permanently banned when discovered by Riot. In fact, there was once Riot let his newest account off the hook for a while so that they could ban it just before it hit Challenger, as an attempt to tilt him off ever playing the game ever. Riot was pretty clear on their stance on Tyler1 then, that they simply don't want Tyler1 to touch the game.
But given it's Tyler1 who is literally addicted to League, that tilted him extremely hard but ultimately didn't stop him from playing the game. And he did actually reform, at least to some extent, enough for Riot to give him a chance to start over some time later. And I don't think he has been banned since.
Yes, the ban system is not perfect, in fact it's extremely flawed. But Tyler1 is now at the very least, vastly better in comparison to before.
So it's not like Riot was hosting and glorifying Tyler1 since day 1.
