What can I do that doesn't get me banned?

I recently was freed from a 15 day suspension.

I've been focusing really hard on talking the least negative I can. Everytime I press the "Enter" key to say "Why would you...?" I just stop myself, sometimes when crap happens I just "." in all chat. But when it comes to people straight up being negative all the time and blamming me for no reason, I can't hold it. Yesterday was a exception, this happened but I just straight up blocked all communication and forced myself not to say ANYTHING.

So when it comes to that, what can I do? I won't be able to just tank the insults people are giving me, it's just not my personality. (3 months until im safe from perma bans again) Can I spam pings to feel relieved? Can I just stop trying to play the game and do whatever I feel like it (ex. Playing jungle and completely stop ganking and taxing), or that can get me banned?

Thanks for the attention.

That's what pings are for. If you have to mute people to save yourself from being toxic, then do it. If you have to question plays, it's best to keep it to yourself and just try to encourage your teammates positively.

Do you play with friends? You could always vent through a voice chat with people you know, even if they are not active in your current game.

Your examples of behavior you'd like to try all involve focusing your frustrations on your team members, and that's the exact problem that's gotten you to your current situation. Mute them if they are saying anything besides useful information, and if you need to vent just say it out loud, rather than in game through text or pings.

And above all don't change your play just because you dislike someone. The goal here is to win, not make friends with everyone you meet, so sometimes you have to cooperate with asshats. If ganking for them gives you a better chance of winning, and therefore a faster route to get out of that game, then gank for them. It won't get you banned if you decide the best course of action is to farm up and not gank, but it's one step down the path to getting an "assisting the enemy team" report.

Once someone starts to rag on you about your play, just say thanks for the suggestions, and refrain from any other chat. If they continue to harass you, hold your tongue, click the report button after the game.

The satisfaction you will get from the notice of helping clean up the Rift will be greater then anything you do in game to defend yourself with chat. With no chance of putting your account in danger.

You don't have to tank things. Sometimes if everyone is abusing you then turning off their chat via mute is the best option, and I commend you for considering that.

Have you tried unbinding your enter key so you can't open the chat to respond?

Start streaming league and flame your teamates and enemy players on stream, As long as you don't type if out in chat you should be fine. You can get a way with being toxic on stream and assuming you don't have viewers you won't get caught!

Be nice.

If you can't be nice, say it aloud. Don't type it. Pingspamming is also negative behavior, perhaps even harassment, depending on the severity.

Why to you need to inflict negativity on others to feel relieved? That seems like an issue.

Also, every time you go "Why would you...?", try to answer it. Or, rewatch the game later from their perspective. Perhaps it's enlightening.

As for tanking the insults, fuck em. How can you respect someone that needs to insult? And if you don't respect the insulter, why does the insult even matter any more? fuck em.

just go trolling and play the blame game, works for me.

if someone from your team shittalks you, then go ahead roam around doing nothing. then your team will quickly realize whos the toxic one and spam /all report xy

i find that "don't be a dick" and "treat others how you would treat your child" pretty much cover how you're supposed to behave

At the start mute enemy team, there is no point in talking to them, and they will most likely just talk to piss your team off.

And if any of your teammates start flamming or being toxic, at the first sight of it, mute them. If someone is arguing with them also mute them as fast as possible.

It is very rude, but pings are a great and faster alternative to communication, and in solo queue that's more than enough. It's kind of a dick move to mute everything in your sights, but it's necessary, even more if you can't control your anger towards others. [sg-soraka]

It's hard to keep one's own temper in check when dealing with extremely irritating teammates. I've actually written a post on the subject, so if you are interested in learning some ways to interact with teammates without getting banned, I suggest you give this a read:

Let me know if you have any further questions, I'm happy to discuss this subject.
