(post is more to vent than anything) why is it that as a support anytime I'm in a teamfight or my ADC has died and I get a kill someone has to open their mouth and threaten to report me?

seriously W ive been getting crap for year from this killing people with this when the main point of it has always been to top someone off

is a poke heavy support, of course I'm going to get kills

and the one tonight that really annoyed me......

W onto a group of 3 of them and get a kill and instantly get spammed, or jump on someone running away and out of range of you anyways and I get spammed again, personally I'd rather get the kill over letting them get away wouldn't you?

edit: and to those of your threatening to report me for simply playing the game, your being reported for threats.

Life of a support...

-No one honors them - even when the adc says "wow nice" or "good job" etc etc -Everyone blames them for the adc sucking until team fight and they realize... oh the adc sucks -If you accidentally shield yourself instead of your adc because he's walking on top of you they go crazy -If like you said with Nami/Zyra you get a kill... they lose their minds. EVEN if they were dead or no where near the kill (as in no assists). Sometimes it's tough too with Nami b/c both champs are low - don't heal and you get flamed... heal and possibly get the kill and you get flamed.

There were sooo many times - more than I can count where someone got away because of the fear of "KS".

I remember I accidentally ONCE AA a mob and Ashe lost her mind... reported me and told me her duo partner is going to report me too. I could go on and on. But I'm in silver so maybe that's why? Anyway sick and tired of it - recently been playing AP supports for that reason.

Just eat it and play...

People who complain about supports getting kills aren't worth listening to.

The game state is better compared to before the kill, that's all that matters.

Good teammates won't care who gets the kill. It's always super difficult when deciding whether to use that ability or last hit and you're afraid of getting that kill. If it's a grey area (they may have flash, they may get away) just go for it.

The worst is when you're an AP support, and the "give to the ADC" mentality gets you doing the same damn thing, but you're also a carry. Just buy them shiny things when you do get ahead.

I got matched with 2 golds and 2 plats on my team in ranked (I'm only silver2) the other night and traded mid to a guy begging for it, so I ended up playing braum support. I got 3 kills as braum, and no one said shit. This is usually the case for me. I can only recall like 2 times I know for sure that someone got upset over me getting kills. And I used to play a lot of support. So idk, I think you're just getting unlucky, or you're really inflating the issue in your head. Sometimes you'll get flamed for the pettiest shit. It just happens. Mute em if it's making you want to tell them they're fucking morons, and then report em after. They may not get punished, but hey, it only takes like 5 seconds. Whatever you do, do NOT argue with em, and do not insult them. You're okay, keep getting them kills when you have to xD

Assuming you’re playing in low Elo? Lots of people in blinds or low bronze freak out about supports all the time. Cause they have no ide why’s going on, and think they can chase a guy around the map is worth it. But don’t even know how to secure kills. Supports with kills is actually good, esp on carry support like zyra/brand/Sona. If anyone flamed tell them to op.gg me in season 7 I played AP Sona all the why to Diamond 1 KSed and and everything.
