You cannot 'steal cs" as YOU DO NOT OWN MINIONS!

Freaktory·11/18/2019, 4:42:59 AM·5 votes·3,369 views

You can cry all you want about how someone is "stealing CS" but that is an imposibility as someone cannot steal something you DO NOT OWN in the first place. You cannot steal minions, You cannot steal kills. Neither of which have your name on them. You cannot report someone for "Stealing CS" or "Killstealing" as they do not belong to you.

Riot has stated that Minions, both Neutral and enemy, DO NOT BELONG TO ANYONE. So there is no stated rule saying supports are NOT allowed to take cs.

yeah yeah and I hear you saying "Supports dont take cs, supports give cs to the adc" FUCKING SHOW ME! Show me the exact rule that states a support player has to intentionally cripple themselves and make themselves weaker so that the adc can take ALL the cs, then turn around and go on about how "fucking useless" the support is, throwing the support under the bus as something to make themselves feel better.

No, Supports ALLOW adc to take cs, It is NOT a rule, it is not a set in stone requirement. It is a consideration, a COURTESY. One I have NO INTEREST in extending to the latest generation of the community. The adcs who will spend the entire game going on and on about how "garbage" thier support is because they missed an ult, or how trash they are because they died once due to cc lock by the enemy team. Sorry but again, You cannot call for "Report for ks/stealing cs" as YOU DO NOT OWN MINIONS just like YOU DO NOT OWN KILLS. You want the courtesy of unhindered farm? Climb off your high horse pull your head out of your ass and stop acting like your support is little more than shit on the bottom of your shoe to be scraped off and sneered at at your earliest convenience.

Again, You want farm? BUILD FKING DAMAGE AND TAKE IT FROM ME! otherwise dont blame me because you decide to throw a tantrum after support gets 1cs and you call the match quits "report my support for stealing cs" Cant steal what you DONT OWN to begin with.

There are many unwritten "rules". They are not necessarily rules, and nobody can show it to you; they are instead guidelines which players generally follow and all come together to create the "meta". Having a meta enables strangers to understand and cooperate with each other on a certain level so that they aren't fighting against each other rather than the enemy. Players who refuse to follow this should come to a compromise or understanding with their team first so they're not hurting their chances of winning. Most of the time this just means playing in a premade that wants to play this way.

Cool. So when I stay in your lane the entire time, just taking your CS, you don't get to complain?

This whole post feels so troll. I looked at your match history and u are going Draven support.... and trying to become the ADC yourself instead of actually supporting your ADC who already had his/her role confirmed in champ select. You are trolling your whole team and this could probably count as griefing since you are tilting your entire team by stealing someone else's role and on top of that you are taking CS. It is every player's right to report you and you truly should be reported and banned if possible, because you are griefing your team every single game. Throughtout all your comments, you emphasized how you are a support main and like playing support, but then u pick draven and build like an ADC like wut ?? I can see your teammate's POV tbh, they see you pick draven as a support to actually support, not build these dumb offmeta builds. Like you are telling your ADC to build damage and take CS from you but then u are picking Draven and building damage to rub salt on their wounds... Like u arent only going Draven support building like a carry, you are building carry on Yuumi and soraka as well, even in the 1 ranked game u played this season u built Essence Reaver Soraka... REALLY Dude ?? and you want to RANT about how u get reported for taking 1 CS ?? You literally have a CS score of around 100 every game , I dont think that counts as 1 CS. You should be banned every time you make a new account. You dont deserve to play in multiplayer games. Like you seem like a dogshit of a person tbh. Don't even try to make a " Oh but this is draft mode " excuse, and you are just testing things out, test out offmeta heroes like a support not a carry , if u are put into the support role. If you read this Freaktory, I would like you to try and defend what you are doing is technically " OK " and is not griefing since you like to tell people " TRY AGAIN " after every argument. Sounds about right.

Instead of getting upset over being new and rejecting anything you dont understand, learn it and get better.

It sounds like you should switch to mid or top. I think you would be happier.

Okay, I guess this means I can stay in your lane all game and take cs that happens to come into it and you can't complain, because "stealing cs doesn't exist."

There is no "rule" that states "it is wrong to last hit minions others are trying to kill". It's STRONGLY discouraged BY THE GAME, NOT JUST "COMMON COURTESY" as you put it due to the nature of support items before quest completion, and that you're wasting gold for your team because it disables the gold passive on them. It's just wasting resources.

There is however a rule "try your best to support the team and give them the best chance at winning" and regarding that rule, 99% of the time the support role is best off leaving the CS to the ADC and that's why people consider it griefing and report for it.

I've had games where it's something like brand/draven botlane, and our draven dies to ganks until 0/4 low CS and brand lives every time soaking up more exp, having to kill minions at tower so he's okay on CS, and just generally less behind. Then they take farm and it helps us win the game because draven is so far behind it's less useful on him. This is NOT what you described. It's dependent on the champion you're playing.

Most typical support champs are champs that are strong without gold, and are always stronger without gold than an ADC without gold. If you're playing Thresh, you don't make that judgement call and start taking CS because items aren't nearly as impactful on you than on your ADC. A Brand can on rare occasions make better use of the gold, like in that example.

One problem with this post is that you're implying that EVERY game your ADC will complain about any accidental CS taken. That's dishonest. People praise good supports all the time, when they make good plays. Just like any other role. Just like people shit on any other role when they're doing poorly. The game's always been like that, the community sucks that's no surprise.

Another problem is you acting like you could never be wrong and shouldn't have taken that CS. For truly the best chance to win, you're probably often wrong about "the CS is better on me" or anything relating to it.

No offense but it just screams salt, there are valid reasons people call it griefing and I won't lie plenty of people do it when it's not valid. People complain about support taking kills all the time, when it's only considered valid when there's 100% no chance they escape, and the gold is far better on the ADC than you. I rarely see ADCs complain about a high damage support getting kill gold.

Plenty of people are toxic as hell in this game for no reason, but you sound like you're the one on the high horse here just because you got some bad ADCs recently. Saying this stuff, you aren't playing "to give your team the best chance of winning" you're playing out of tilt and self-justification.

Okay, semantically you might be right that there is no such thing as cs stealing…. but what there absolutely is is pointlessly:

A) Antagonizing your team B) Starving gold dependent champions of gold C) Adding an additional player your ADC needs to "compete" against to gain gold D) Wasting resources; even if it is just autoattacks that could have been directed elsewhere.

And let's not talk around the bush here, if you are doing these things intentionally or willingly? You are griefing. If you prefer that term over "cs stealing" I'm fine with using that word.

Inkling Commando11/18/2019, 5:58:12 AM4 votes

this is just like lane calling in Blind. it may be a courtesy but it is in no way a rule and thus cannot face punishment off that alone. "stealing" the cs is in no way a rule and merely a courtesy, which you have every right to give or take. other examples include:

support going bot lane with the adc (they support the entire team and not just bot lane) leashing early game (if no one wants to help the jg with a buff early game then they should not expect help from jg later on)

Myrmiron11/18/2019, 10:17:35 AM4 votes

I mean if you hate winning so much you could also just run it down instead of trying to make your adc mad by hindering them, it's more straight forward that way. Normal players that try to win usually understand the support position as a position that supports the team, and as such forfeits income so that their carrys (the position that's supposed to scale very hard with gold) may become big and strong - the players normal supports try to support with their supportive abilities. (This is also why support items are very cheap and usually offer obscure values like CC or buffs rather than raw stats.)

MrEnds11/19/2019, 2:19:15 PM2 votes

bro giving your adc the cs is the best thing you can do because you are SUPPORTING the ATTACK DAMAGE CARRY who needs ITEMS from the GOLD they get from KILLING CS and CHAMPIONS to actually make your bot lane duo actually viable against the enemy (post comment: I just checked your match history, IDK how you haven't been banned yet tbh)
