I got a permanent ban for using third party programs and yet have no idea what one would be never got a warning for it never got told in any email what is going on and why so I can only think someone hacked my account or riot screwed up and didn't look into the report. But as soon as I download legends of runeterra all of a sudden I get a permanent ban but can still log in and play that game. that's the only thing ive downloaded in the past years

If you truly believe you are clean (and didn't lend your account out for ELO boosting purposes) then go submit a ticket and tell them your story there. They will determine if you were truly hacked or just faking it.

Stolen accounts sometimes do cause this, and in those cases the immediately locked account is a good thing since it prevents the thieves from continuing to access your account and contacts. Contact support and see if that's the case for you. If they can verify it was, you'll have to change your password (and check that the associated e-mail is still yours), and you'll get your account back.
If they can't verify that it was a stolen account situation, then you probably won't get it back.

My account was recently hacked, it's pretty apparent the recent matches played were not me. Are the chances I'll get my account back good then? I've already submitted a ticket and have changed my password as well.
Edit: I was permanently banned for the same thing, use of third party programs.

hyperion31821 votesContact Player Support as described above. "Somebody" used scripts on your LoL account. Dont forget YOU are not banned, the ACCOUNT is banned. Also, it doesnt necessarily mean YOU scripted, it means SOMEBODY scripted. The question is how much responsible you are. Maybe you were sharing your account with a friend/relative/booster or you truly got your account compromised. Player Support will investigate. Runeterra is not the issue here. Be patient, be polite clear and precise, let us know how it goes.

So you've gotten access to your account back then? I'm still waiting for a reply on the ticket I submitted, but I'm trying to keep my hopes up about getting my account back.

He got his account back. Some scummy person hacked into it. Too bad Riot doesnt care though eh? They only restored his account and all. Pffft. I suppose in your mind its probably somehow Riots fault that some people are scumbags.
